Derek was so awesome to work with on both mitigation and repairs. Our basement was truly a disaster and he took the time to walk us through each step of the process and make sure we stayed comfortable and informed. Garrett and his team were awesome!! Garrett and his crew showed up on time every time. He committed to having our job done by July 16th, and they did not disappoint. Our house is better than before. They were very professional and flexible to work with. We first hired another company that strung us along for 5 months and we had to fire them. Disaster Doctors took care of the water damage we experienced because of a flood we had in our upstairs bathroom which leaked into our bathroom downstairs. They also helped with removal of some mold. They did a great job removing everything that was effected by the water damage and mold. They also did a wonderful job getting everything back together for us. We were impressed by their caring to make sure we were taken care of and their professionalism

Basement flooded the week before Christmas, due to sewer drain backup and pretty thoroughly soaked the carpet and walls before we discovered it. A mitigation team of three arrived within a couple hours of our phone call, cleared out all affected carpets and sheetrock, set up containment and 6 or 8 dehumidifier and air filter machines. Once mitigation was complete, we used their renovation services to get everything back to it's original condition (with new carpet throughout). Derek was our main contact on the mitigation and was responsive, attentive and thorough. He was extremely helpful

They did come out fast, when they were there they were nice and professional. The problem comes in with communication, everyone had something different to say. There was an extreme lack of communication between workers, office staff and bosses. Every time we talked with someone they had something different to say. I honestly felt like I was lied to… a lot. They never gave any pricing up front, especially for the clean up. They walked away with about 9 grand for a clean up and a very poor paint job. It was a job we could have done for 1/4 of the price. Next time we will be doing it all ourselves

Hired disaster doctors to mitigate a leaking upstairs shower. They hired an inexperienced subcontractor who I ended up having to manage myself. The job was done so poorly they had to do it twice, then the shower failed in less than a year with water leaking through the floor to the bathroom ceiling downstairs. Then they tried to provide the same lousy subcontractor to fix it and refused to repair the damage to ceiling in the downstairs bathroom.

We had a big water damage disaster that Disaster Doctors came out immediately to help us with. This was so bad that it caused mold problems. The house was older and had asbestos that needed abatement. Even the kitchen counters had to be replaced. Disaster Doctors were there every step of the way from start to finish. Garrett worked with my mother… who kept changing her mind every other day with great patience. When I finally took over for her, I found Garrett great to work with. Garrett helped us figure out how to get the most out of our insurance company, as well. I give them a 4-star review

The mitigation the Disaster Doctors have done in my house has been completed and now only the repairs and replacement needs to be completed. The workers were great and cleaned up each day after their work was finished. They were efficient, friendly and professional and explained to me after each day of work what had been completed and what was yet to be done. Disaster Doctors assessed my water damage and leaking roof 4/18/2109 after a storm. State Farm Insurance gave me DD number and said they know the insurance standards and work with them.
Disaster Doctors came shared booklets saying they care but I do not feel this ; only the pressure to sign their contracts; it seems their priority is to make claims.
Derek came and said the roof looks like wind damage (roof nails pulled up from shingles)and the water damage in kitchen and bedroom definitely need mitigation with fans/drying
He said I should make an insurance claim despite my high deductible

Had an issue with mold in a basement bathroom. Cody responded quickly to our issue and made a quick visit to check it out. Turned out not to be serious. Cody explained why the problem developed and how to clean it and prevent future problems. He was among the top professionals we have ever had come to to our house to fix anything. Cody came by tonight on his way home to inspect our home after we had a mold sample come back elevated. He spent time explained things to us gave us some great recommendations, after concluding that we don't have a severe enough issue to warrant major cleanup. I highly recommend Disaster Doctors and will remember how honest and professional Cody was tonight. If I ever need disaster clean-up or mold remediation, I will call Cody!

We recently had our basement flood. Cody at Disaster Doctors took such good care of us and our home. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He would explain the mitigation process in detail and keep us in the loop with every surprise that he found or every little piece of good news. They were willing to work with us when we wanted to do some… of the work ourselves to save a buck or two. Throughout the whole process we had a ton of questions that were answered with patience and confidence. If it wasn't for the whole basement flooding thing this would have been an all-around pleasant experience

We have been concerned about mold that we've been eyeballing in both our upstairs and downstairs bathrooms. We called and Cody came to check it out. He was so kind and understanding of our concern, but reassured that it's not as severe as we had anticipated! This visit gave us a lot of peace of mind, and we will absolutely be giving them a call if we run into another situation! I called Disaster Dr to get a black mold test in my rental for my bathroom that has visible mold. Once transferred I asked how much for a mold test. My property manager said my landlord will not clean it up until I get a positive mold test. They refused to service me unless I agreed to at least 2 of the 3 suggested tests. One in the contaminated area, one outside the contaminated area inside and one outside. At $75 each. When I asked of they could just test the one room that clearly had mold he suggested I call another company. I told him it was in the bathroom and I could see the mold so only

Had a very positive experience with Disaster Doctors. I emailed them at 11:00 pm asking for someone to come out and inspect my home for mold. The next morning, they texted me (as per my request) and was out here that same afternoon. Cameron even knew a little sign language and it was easy to read his lips, which was a huge bonus for me!
He was able to locate the issue (which wasn't as bad as I feared) and explained everything to me in detail. Cameron was able to give me options on what I could do to remedy the problem, keeping cost in mind.
I will use them again if I need to and will recommend
