Alan Cross teaches piano in his home studio in Saratoga, CA and online. Alan was trained in classical and jazz at Concordia University, Irvine. He has served as a music director, choir accompanist, professional pop keyboardist, and as a leader in a jazz band. Alan has been teaching piano since 2007 and has had great success with helping students of all ages develop strong musical foundations, expressive ability, and a deep rooted love for music.

Alan is great teacher with good knowledge of music theory and always punctual(as we did home based in person learning). He comes with good plan and curriculum. My son progressed well in each class..he was easily connected with my son and grabbed attention. He is very patient and best piano teacher ever we met. I would recommend him for teaching piano for any age

My daughter took piano, voice and guitar lessons from Alan over the last 3 1/2 years. Even though my daughter wasn't naturally talented at music now she is able to play piano, guitar and read music. Alan is patient and kind with the students, works at a pace that fit your child. I am so thankful for finding Alan to be my daughter's music teacher and would recommend him to anyone!
