Located in the heart of Alamo Heights with easy access to our storefront on Broadway, the business is owned and operated by Wah Tee herself. My hubs surprised me with tickets to the opera. I am pregnant so I had NOTHING to wear and so I hunted for a dress. I came in a few days before the opera and Mrs wah-tee took care of me and got the job done in time! Pricier but definitely worth it since it was an emergency, it was sweet of her to even consider tailoring my dress in such short notice. I will be going back for future tailorings

I brought in a denim shirt to be resized (to a smaller size). Rather than take measurements, Wah-Tee took a similar shirt of mine to use as a "sample" to get the measurements from. She agreed to modify the larger shirt's width at the sides, and width of the sleeves, to match the smaller shirt's dimensions.

Wah Tee has been taking care of our alterations for .... ever. We went to her at her first location on Austin Hwy. She moved to Broadway, but she is still the expert I met years ago. She and her people are professional, hard working and honest. If they say it will be ready, and in my experience it will expertly done!

I've used other tailors and Wah Tee is someone I can simply count on. I own a boutique down the street so I have sent her a lot of pieces that need repair over the course of three years. She's a hoot that is for sure. She speaks to everyone like they are familiar and like her family.... this can be good or bad depending on your level of sensitivity. The truth is she has a LOT of work, she does great work and doesn't coddle anyone. She's a one woman show at the front most times so if you want a good price and great tailoring come here. Wah tee is a lovely and professional business-woman. She and her team are always very accommodating with any sort of tailoring need. I don't always ask for them to get something done in a day or two but whenever I do they make sure to have back to me promptly.
Most of the times after wah tee has measured me and made the alteration I don't even bother to try it on. I have 100% trust in her services. Thanks Wah-Tee!

Mrs. Wah Tee is a delightful and hilarious women. In the short time I was there she was bringing the waiting room together in conversation while doing an excellent job on clothes. My suit looks amazing. In addition to that she got my suit done 15 minutes before close on a Saturday. I would highly recommend!!!

Here's the deal: in fields, such as tailoring, where you have (i) an elastic supply and (ii) a largely replicable skillset, you are getting rated by me based solely on customer service. While Wah Tee seems to be a skilled tailor based on all the other glowing reviews, in my experience (in addition to a conversation I had with another former client) Wah Tee does not treat potential clients (in this case me) with respect.

Wow! I love Wah Tee's! She and the other associates working are extremely professional! I went in needing alterations on a dress that whoever measured me messed up on, with it being 4 sizes too big!!!! I was completely unhappy and upset but Wah Tee helped me work out what needed to be done with the dress. She is a huge help! Thank you Wah Tee!!

This place is top notch. They have reasonable prices, good turnaround, and the quality is fantastic. I made the mistake of taking a few things to an alteration place closer to home and paid almost 3 times as much. The customer service is terrific and I will continue to take ALL alteration items here in the future.

Best tailor in Alamo heights! The owner is so personal and is the best in Alamo Heights area. You can tell its an amazing tailor when the lobby is full! Wah Tee remembers your name when you come to pick up your garnets. I don't have to tell her what to fix bc she already knows and how to make my garments fit my body perfectly!

I searched San Antonio for a quality tailor and finally found the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
Wah Tee is professional and does great work. She also gives you straight answers to your questions about how a suit fits and If she can fix your suit or if you should simply buy a new one.
If you wear suits to work on a regular basis, then you should save her number on your cell phone . . . because if you need alterations done then this is the only call you will need to make.
