Eric Galvin, president since 2017, has more than 20 years of experience in the health care industry in the areas of operations, underwriting, finance and human resources. *Incapable and unreliable*

Customer service agents rarely have the correct answer. I've been trying to figure out when I met my deductible. Each time I call, they tell me a different date.

I've called literally 10 times in the past 2 weeks. They promised to have a supervisor give me a call back within 48 hours, and it's already been 1 week.

On my last call, the operator told me that the wait/hold time was so long to be connected with a customer service representative, and she basically inferred it was a lost cause for me to even try getting a hold of anyone at that point.

Absolutely nothing positive to say. Scam artists who tell the patients one thing and then renege on it. Seems to have a minimum call in time of 30 minutes per call. They won't let you off the phone and place you on hold for 10 minutes come back apologize and do it again. And almost every prescription has to have a prior authorization which they don't tell you is expired and you find out at the pharmacy when you go to pay for your medication. Not a good place to do business with. Trust me from my experience

Customer service is disaster, waiting on the phone over 40 minutes no one knows what they are doing, transfer to few extensions but still holding and finally i am going to hang-up the phone.

This company's custom service is a joke. The automated phone service was down and after an hour on the phone a representative was unable to take a payment over the phone. They told me go online. I explained that i tried and it wouldn't give me access to my account. They said oh we apologize but try resetting password. I tried restoring password and logging in several times no luck. Called again this time was waiting 90 minutes. Was told this time I have a new member id. Once I use this new member Id I would have no trouble. As I write this on the phone for a 3rd time. God only knows

I called ConnectiCare about a large and suspicious bill I received in November for an Er visit in January. After speaking with Leslie K. my issue was resolved and my concerns put to rest! It turned out (after her fine detective work) that I was not responsible for the balance, due to negligence on behalf of the other company. She went above and beyond to make sure my issue was taken care of and was very kind and understanding during the process. Normally,I don't write reviews,but connecticare has done more harm than good ,I registered with them and I've never defaulted in paying the 299dollars and some cents every month without access to any care !in April I told them I can't pay and will pay the following month ,then in May I told them to cancel ,they said I won't need to pay for May ,long story short they mailed again and said I have to pay ,okay how do I pay up ,they stopped picking my calls ,they didn't respond to my mails and letters till date !

The insurance is fine, should be for the over $12,000 dollars a year that I pay. Yes, you read that correctly. Self employed, not eligible for federal stipend. My premium went up $14 a month and the best part? I kept getting locked out of the website to upgrade my autopay for the new premium. Here I am, a customer trying to pay my premium and I get shut out of the system. I had to speak to at least 6 different customer service reps regarding the website. For what we pay in premiums, I suggest an upgrade in your IT dept. The absolute worst, user unfriendly, website I've ever experienced. I

Insurance is garbage. Customer service is garbage. Without getting into too much detail, customer service refused to fill a script. We're stuck since this is what my employer offers. Out HR dept is looking for better options. We cannot wait to get rid of this absolute trash plan. In this case nothing is better.

Apparently, the foundation of this insurance company is greed, lies and ineptness. The insurance card a junk that no doctor's office or pharmacy accept. They didn't let me drop my coverage despite at my requests and I was thrown like a curve ball between Connecticare and Healthy CT for months. Poor customer service.

Now, their collections keep harrassing me for the coverage they refused to drop on my numerous request.

This company is a nightmare in the name of health insurance provider.

How about you train your people to answer the question “which dentist are in my network” with actual dentists that are covered. I was on the phone for hours after I received a bill with no coverage and connecticare since we told you we cover it we will fix it. then to be told they aren’t going to pay it. If this wasn’t through my husbands job I would drop them so quick.

Worst health insurance. Kept increasing my rates and pushed me into Access Health CT. There's more going on here that can be seen and I'm sure the State is making a pretty penny on the deal. As for me, I'm leaving as soon as possible and heading to North Carolina. As for Connecticare, they take your hard earned money and deny most everything or make you waste hours on phone. Can't wait for retirement.

I tried to drop coverage with them. They told me that since I obtained it through AccessHealthCT, I would have to call AccessHealthCT. Access dragged their feet in cancelling my coverage. Now Connecticare is billing me and threatening collections. Sorry, Connecticare, but YOU did not allow me to drop my coverage. I don't owe you anything.

These people ace CROOKS, plain and simple.

Its a shame that I don't remember the name of the woman that I just spoke to. Wow she was the most kind and caring woman I have spoken to. I understand that sometimes most don't have great experiences speaking to customer service but Feb28,2017 at 7:30 pm this woman listened to my story and spent the time to talk to me and got me to understand what I needed to do. She spent a half hr speaking with me. Thank you and I am very glad I spoke to this woman she has made my week 10 times better then it would have been
