Founded in 2000, STARZ is a Member of the International Dance Council CID at UNESCO, Paris, and currently the only dance or performing arts academy endorsed by the Mercer County Commission for performing arts education. Offering professional instruction in a positive, family-focused environment, our programs provide well-rounded education with emphasis on technique, performance, and an appreciation of the arts.
Creative, focused, and competitive, our academy is highly dedicated to providing the Two Virginias with proper and exceptional instruction from Teachers Certified through the International Dance Council CID, CLI Studios, Acrobatic Arts, and Acro Dance Teacher's Association.

Services
Preschool classes consist of Ballet level 0, Tap level 0, Creative Movement, Song & Dance, and basic class structure. K-2nd grade classes focus on Ballet level 1, Tap level 1, basic Jazz Technique, Creative Movement, Song & Dance, developing confidence, and spatial awareness. All classes will perform in our 21st annual Spring Recital (2021).
STARZ Performing Arts Companies provide a positive, safe environment for students to grow and flourish, not only as artists but as young adults. Our Competition Team Program teaches confidence, responsibility, time management, and self-esteem, while giving students the opportunity to build relationships and memories that will last a lifetime.
STARZ Performing Arts Academy is one of only 250 dance academies in the world in partnership with CLI Studios. The CLI Studios Partnership Program allows our students to study with top choreographers through live streaming and pre-recorded Master Classes at STARZ.
The program currently includes classes from more than 300 top Instructors & Choreographers, including NYC Ballet's Tiler Peck, Brian Friedman, Allison Holker, Twitch, Teddy Forance, and many more!
