Maybe I'm new to the billing side of doctors visits and I don't know if this message will make a difference but the doctor charged me $75.54 after a $104.46 insurance payment for some rubber tape wrap and a piece of support felt and it took three minutes to apply. Maybe this is considered normal in this doctors world. I just think it's insane.

Saw Dr. Vekkos 6 years ago. Unfortunately I waited too long to sue him and my case was dismissed because of being time barred. I made the mistake of first writing him over and over for a couple years without just going to a lawyer. He never responded back. Horrible surgery. Toes look almost as bad as before this $35K operation. He bragged and bragged about being the best. He is the worst and a real low life that he couldn't even stand behind his horrible work and own up to it. There may be some positive reviews here but those mean nothing. You need to look at the negative ones. Because they show

I fell down stairs and broke my foot, went to the ER and followed up with the on-call orthopedic-surgeon. Months later still in pain, I went to Dr. Vekkos, he found a fracture that the other doctor missed. He and Dr. Jen took great care of me. The entire staff is wonderful and treat you like family. I would recommend them to anyone!

I went to see Dr. Leonard Vekkos about bone bump between my little toes on one foot. He said I needed bunion surgery. He was nice and seemed competent so I scheduled the surgery. His receptionist was his assistant in surgery. It was her first time helping with surgery. She was the only one in the office with him on that day. I was pretty shook up about that as I was already in the surgery room and all numbed. He broke bones in my feet, put in screws. In post opp sessions I questioned that fact that my big toes were not touching the ground. I was also concerned that the screws were sticking out
