I came here for the first time and Andrea did a great job! I really appreciated her communication throughout the whole process, making sure I knew what my hair did and didn't need and was open about how much everything would cost from the beginning. She's clearly very knowledgeable about hair and made sure I was happy with everything as she was doing it. Definitely coming back :)

I have had a great experience coming to the Beauty Lounge. I've gone to both locations and love the stylists I have seen.
Andrea is amazing and has taken the time to get to know me and what I want. She listens and keeps me in the loop throughout the entire process to make sure I am happy. My experience with her has been wonderful! I highly recommend Andrea and the Beauty Lounge!

Andrea is simply AMAZING. Where do I begin? Her communication from the day I booked, to the day of and during every step was phenomenal. She asked questions and gently made suggestions while truly considering my opinions. I had originally gone to another stylist after not getting my hair professionally done in over two years and my hair did not quite turn out the way I wanted. After not speaking up at that appointment I started trying to convince myself my hair looked okay, within 3 weeks my hair looked awful and I was embarrassed. Having my hair cut in South Florida and New York City, I'm incredibly particular about who I trust with my hair (and care). Andrea cares each and every time as if she was cutting her own hair (or her best friends').
In COVID times, I was anxious to go into any salon, but Beauty Lounge did everything the right way. The entire salon is clean, well kept and modern with feminine touches that make you so excited to come back the next time.
My favorite hour or two to myself every few months are the times I need a haircut. Ask for my girl Andrea - she won't ever dissappont.

The salon is clean and spacious - I really liked the decor (esp the chandeliers) and they are doing lots to ensure safety during COVID (masks, social distancing, plexi-glass separators, hand sanitizer etc) which I very much appreciate.

I booked with Andrea and was very happy with my experience! She was thorough in her communication with me prior to the appointment to make sure I checked out her work on IG and to share my inspo pictures with her.
Andrea walked me through the process before and during. I had long dark brown/almost black hair and wanted to go very light so I plan to go back for another coloring service to go lighter than the gold pictured.

I recently moved from San Jose to Walnut Creek and started looking for a new hair stylist to do my hair. I have really thick long hair and so its hard to find somone who would know how to cut my hair. Well One day I walked into This Place and found Andrea.
She was super nice and helpful. Told her what I wanted and she cut my hair just the way I wanted it.

Andrea is the best! After the trauma done to my hair of multiple Stylest at different locations I finally found Andrea. I drive 20 minutes to see her and it's well worth it! She is so knowledgeable and a master stylist who also teaches so she knows her stuff! Extension, color and cuts this is your girl! Only person I trust with my hair!

This review is long overdue and I have finally had the time to write it. I went to see Andrea for toner service as it had been a little over 6 weeks since I had my balayage highlights done at another salon in SoCal. They had brightened up quite a bit and taken on this gold/yellowy color that I wasn't too fond of. So I asked Andrea if we could tone them down and make them a little more subtle. I came here recently for the first time and saw Andrea. She specializes in color, and I had not had my hair done in 9 months, so my hair was a hot mess. She had a lot of questions about what I wanted, and I had never been asked questions like this or asked to look at pictures. It makes sense, especially when there's an age or generational difference between 2 people. I've never even considered my wishes but always left it up to whoever. Anyway, I'm very happy with my color. My millennial friends like it as well and I will definitely be going back. The shop is very covid responsive

Since moving to a new town, I was in desperate need of a salon for these roots that were coming in strong. I had passed by this salon on my first move here while walking through downtown but forgot to remember the name. After a huge disaster at the first salon I found via Yelp; I was a bit hesitant to try again. In comes Beauty Lounge and the incomparable Andrea! My only gripe is that I didn't find this awesome hair salon and Andrea sooner! Andrea is such a sweetheart! I love her honesty and knowledge. She took her time with me, always made sure I was comfortable, and gave me great info and styling tips. I came in for a cut and style with long hair and made a drastic change to a much shorter length just above my shoulders. I'm in love with my new hairstyle...halfway through my appointment I was already beaming from ear to ear underneath my mask! Thanks so much Andrea!

I got a haircut with Andrea and it was amazing. She was super nice, and gave me great advice on how to take care of my hair/scalp. She did an amazing job on the texture and length of my hair the way I wanted. The price was also very reasonable. I paid only $90. I am definitely coming back to this place and booking an appointment with her again!
