Ed started in the moving business at 16 and soon became a driver at 17. Ed established Wade Odell Wade in 1984 with 1 truck and a 3 man crew.

With his partner John and the WOW team, Wade Odell Wade has proudly developed into the premier local and long distance mover of Northern New Jersey. Ed is active in all aspects of the company. John worked on moving vans throughout high school and college. He managed several large moving companies in the New York metro area before becoming co-owner of WOW in 1986.

I have used W.O.W. For 2 moves in the last 6 months. Their price is comparable to others that I priced out, they are professional and the team of professional movers are great! The same team of guys moved me both times. The guys were professional, hard working and friendly! They were very respectful of the house, my “stuff” and even played with my dog so she got to know them. My moves had stops to/ from a storage unit and the guys moved all my stuff efficiently and quickly. On my last move some of my furniture didn’t fit in the new house so even though it was taken out of storage the team

I have used Wade Odell Wade to transport my things from NJ to UT twice--once from my storage unit a year ago and just recently from my apartment for my final move to UT, my new residence. I did not research pricing this second time around since Jim Murphy and the whole WOW team were so responsive and professional last year that I knew I could depend on them again. This past week the team of Jim Murphy, Ivan Vasquez, Kevin Thompson and Freddy Torres made this challenging move seamless. Lamar Adams and destination crew in NC were too notch in moving my Mother in Law from NJ to NC. This is who you want to request. So helpful and professional. Careful and meticulously detailed. Wade ODell has moved my brother and sister as well. Plan to use them for future moving experiences and would recommend. Also it should be mentioned that my MIL had so many antiques. Be warned. Stay away. Used them to move. Dinged and chipped dresser, credenza, scratched tv and dropped the coffee table (from the Empire State Building) you pay for insurance, then they won't put a claim through. We provided prices to replace the coffee table. They couldn't care less. Arbitrary repair prices. The MOST obnoxious woman handles this department. Have used them for storage for years and didn't have a problem. They told us if we had a $50,000 table we should've identified it as "high value" and they would have wrapped it properly. I guess my $5,000 coffee

My complaint was settled through the efforts of the Better Business bureau and one of their arbitration attorneys. I comprised and settled for 500 dollars which mostly covered the cost of the insurance 525

Had John Dack come for a quote. He specifically said to call and book 3 weeks out. Then confirmed same in an email to my wife. Exactly 3 weeks and 1 day out, a call to their office to give the deposit reveals that they are now booked for our moving date. Maritza could not have been less pleasant. We had multiple email exchanges with them about the date, and were assured it was not a problem. I emailed John and he replied saying the the pandemic has created a demand for their services. The pandemic is not an excuse for poor scheduling and is really neither here nor there. We felt confident that

In November, we had finally sold our house and needed to start the moving process. Last time we moved was over 34 years ago. So you can imagine the amount of stuff that we needed to pack.
We interviewed a few moving companies and just felt comfortable with Wade, Odell, Wade. More of a gut reaction.
From the original estimator through the office process to the end; it was seamless.
We packed a lot of stuff on our own and thought that we were pretty well prepared for our moving day, but for as much as we did, we still needed help! Pedro, Jose and Marconi were amazing, they just flew into action

So sorry it has taken me so long to post my update- I think my boxes are giving birth to more boxes- still unpacking! The delivery was outstanding- John ,Kevin and their Florida helper CeCe did an amazing job of unloading and patiently placing my belongings in my new home! The entire move at both ends was incredibly stress free. The care and consideration taken by all involved from beginning to end made what could have been a very stressful event, very,very easy! They were not honest or up front about our long distance move. We did not get our shipment for five weeks after it was loaded even though our last date of delivery was supposed to be two weeks after loading. There was no communication. There were no updates provided and I was made to feel foolish when I would call for an update. Even after our things arrived there was no call to see how it went or even say thank you for your patience. Was definitely let down by this company.

Amazing crew, fantastic service.
Luigi, Steve, Jeremy, and Anthony were great. They treated our possessions like they were theirs and we couldn't be happier with our move. It all started with Chris Finno coming to our house and looking at what we needed moved, thoroughly explaining to us what was going to happen and giving us materials to help plan the move. Then a few emails between myself and Jan at the office( check your spam filters), even though we had a little miscommunication, she was super helpful. We moved from NJ to Maryland. The movers themselves were quite good. The problem occurs if anything goes wrong. A section of a newly refinished hardwood floor was very marred during the move out of the NJ house. Most likely from the pad laid on the floor and furniture moved over it. We noticed the area within an hour of the movers leaving. We immediately tried cleaning it, as any rational person would, to see if that would remove the problem and not bother the moving company. But it was more than a surface issue. So we contacted Wade ODell Wade and opened a ticket and sent a photo. Their response
