Was giving the run round for two weeks. Went in to get my MRI done. Got it done, doctor told me that I need to have knee surgery after reviewing them. Been trying to schedule a day for surgery since then. The lady Tiffany claimed that my insurance was only for work related injuries. Which was a flat out lie. I called my insurance company and they told me that that was not true at all. I am fully covered even outside of work. So I will be looking for a new orthopedic doctor to do my procedure because I’ve been on crutches for two weeks now out of work all because she wants to say that my insurance

I am new to Alabama and in Tennessee I was having a procedure called RFA on my neck. I have one side done then a few later the other side. The RFA do work when Dr Bennett performs them, but I can tell the difference in the two doctors within the two different states. Dr Bennett’s don’t seem to last as long. I know I am new to his practice but I will continue to go so I can confirm, it is Dr Bennett or it is my neck issue has gotten worst. I know his office is extremely busy. I called today in order to get something for inflammation (bad swelling) and constant pain. I am not a pain pill taker

I went to Dr. Dykes as a referral from my OBGYN to find out about my back pain as a result of having a baby 7 weeks ago. Dr. Dykes walked in and ask general questions and ask me if I had high blood pressure issues. I stated yes only since I had my baby and never had the issue before. He stated "that's a thing with the Blacks" ....I responded excuse me...and he stated I mean that's common with the Blacks...I stated I don't think I have high blood pressure because I'm Black....He he went on about Blacks having high blood pressure and hopefully I don't have a stroke because I'm 32 with 3 kids...he

Schedule your appointment about 2 hours before you actually want to be seen. These people have no regard or respect for other people's time. We have intentionally scheduled my fiance's appointments with this clinic two hours before we are supposed to be at work and we are still late because they can't seem to stay on track with their appointments. We were scheduled for an hour ago and the doctor has yet to grace us with his presence. At this point we are just hoping they'll come in and tell us we need to see someone else because there's nothing they can do. Absolutely ridiculous.
Also, they won

Experienced orthopedic docs-I have received excellent care for shoulder, neck and hip pain over the years. They have spine specialists and a hand specialist. I know others in the neighborhood who have undergone hip replacement, knee replacement and carpal tunnel surgery with good results. Caring doctors and staff.

I was unfairly denied service by the Alabama Bone & Joint Clinic in Pelham, AL. I was referred to them by Dr. Lawrence Lee. I came into their office and filled out the appropriate paperwork and they scheduled my first appointment. Later, when I arrived for my first appointment, they refused to see me because I had not designated a primary care physician with Blue Cross Blue Shield. I told them that my BCBS insurance plan did not require me to have a PCP but the employee at the Alabama Bone & Joint Clinic refused to listen to me. I later called BCBS and explained the situation and BCBS confirmed
