My child was taking emotional therapy recommended by school, not to mention after 2 month it didn't help at all. When bad grades appeared and we limited screen time and made the child do the homework and study, my child is angry and told the employee I want to die etc.., so instead of asking the child are you grounded or have no screen time now, to try to understand why and while the father went in the morning explaining all this, they just called the CPS and Police on us, they wanted to harm our family and take our child, in the end they didn't find anything, I believe also discrimination occured

Currently celebrating 45 years of service to the community. Excellent location on El Camino, near downtown Mountain View, with on-site parking. Recently renovated building. Recently updated patient management system. Clinical fees offered on a sliding scale. CHAC has a presence in 34 local schools where kids get services for free. Also lots of topic- specific workshops on parenting, men's issues, and more - check the website.

Not very helpful. I needed assistance dealing with crisis management. I was very clear on my goals. After several months, two counselors and paying for the sessions myself, I gave up trying to get any sort of useful assistance here. Instead of support and concrete methods on crisis management, I was told my problems were all in my head. Way to kick a person when they're down and in crisis. If you have a serious problem, you won't get help here. Don't waste your time and money.

This place is AWESOME! My daughter was on a wait list for a few months and as soon as space became available, we were assigned to an intern. Although at first I felt she was very young, my daughter instantly connected with her. She was amazing and used art therapy. My daughter learned to express her feelings through art and through her own creativity. My daughter absolutely loves this place. In addition to a great counselor, the administration staff is very nice. The weight room has magazines and books. The new location provides more rooms. The only downfall is the intern did not have an email

What a wonderful place. I've taken my relative here several times for sliding-scale cost therapy by top notch therapists. Their new location is great - love the fact they works with small kids up to adults. Kinda one-stop-shop for therapy in Mt. View. It's great to have a center like this in heart of Silicon Valley. Only problem - I want to play in the sand tray every time I go there ;-).
