If I could give this jeweler zero stars I would. I stopped in to get a quote for getting my ring resized smaller. Ended up being told my ring needed $1,000 worth of repairs after the guy in the back looked at it for maybe 10 seconds. Seemed very fishy so I left. Went to Jared for a second opinion and they confirmed NOTHING was wrong with my ring and it looked perfect. Please don’t even bother making an appointment with Krieger unless you want them to prey on you, taking advantage of the emotional/sentimental attachment you have to your ring. Very upset. My fiancé got my engagement ring and a diamond fell out when I didn’t even have it a year. I was happy the owner took care of everything for us because Deb was not willing to help. Now 3 months later the same diamond fell out again. Deb is not willing to let me speak to the owner and wants to charge my fiancé for the work. Does anyone know the owners information? I asked Deb to leave him my name and number and she told me no. I left crying and with no solution on how to fix my ring. I was told to “not wear it all the time because diamonds will fall out”. A quick stop to get my wedding ring cleaned and looked at - -ended up in them telling me that I need $1,400 in repairs. Saying I am at risk for losing my diamonds. I was shocked! They told me to get in touch with my insurance, as they may cover it, as they would rather pay for repair rather than replacing the whole ring. I left and went to two other jewelers to get a second opinion... both places said there was absolutely nothing wrong with my ring! When I told them that I was told I needed $1,400 in repairs, they both were appalled. I've always recommended Krieger....today changed my mind.

My husband chose this store to purchase my engagement ring from. Due to the great customer service, we decided to go back for our wedding bands. Deb is absolutely amazing, calls you by name and makes you feel like family. Ring was soldered timely before the wedding and great communication during COVID. Very disappointed they don't stand behind their work. My son bought a ring from you with obvious flaws in the workmanship and instead of standing behind their work they tell this young couple that it is wear & tear... This insurance company as well as another local jeweler say this is absolutely a flaw but Krieger keeps telling us it is wear and tear. An engagement ring that has wear and tear after only 4 months of ownership is obviously not a quality piece. I'm so disappointed because I encouraged my son to support a small local business. Recently, I purchased a gift for my mother at this store. My elderly mother said the bracelet was too difficult for her to take on and off so the next day I attempted to return my purchase. I was told I could only receive an in-store credit. This is really disappointing because at no time was I told during my purchase that this was a policy. The jeweler I spoke with said it was written clearly on the receipt. My reply was that I don't see the statement until after the purchase. I left a phone number for a manager to call and received no follow up call. I
