It is a great place as others have said. Beautiful grounds and views. But the road noise is bad - even though the freeway seems far enough away. Now for the sites. Make sure you do the back-ins if you want a larger space. The pull throughs are very very tight. I would not recommend them. They really are two RVs in the space of one. The spaces share a power post and water. The sewer connection is odd, way to deep in the ground. Anyway, we enjoyed the area but did not like our site. BTW, do not count on any satellite service (even if they say it might be satellite friendly). In the pull through sites

What a beautiful campground, set among the rolling farm hills just over the bridge from Dubuque. The sites are lovely, big trees, lots of space, gorgeous views and so peaceful! There is a gigantic lawn sloping down toward the cow pasture, I wish some of it was fenced in so our dog could have had a good run, but we were allowed to walk her on it. Everyone was friendly, the laundry room was spotless, and there was a playground and lawn games available. You could here a little highway noise but the scenery and ambiance more than made up for it! It’s about a 10-15 minute drive to groceries etc.

The most beautiful campground we have been in so far.
Absolutely loved the scenery. The rolling hills, the farmland and farm in the distance. Lovely sunset in the evening and lots of stars after dark. We came to visit Galena which was a 20 minute drive through very pretty farmland. Everything was in perfect condition! So clean, so pretty! Owner so friendly and helpful, site completely level with nice grassy spaces between sites.
Some sites have concrete patio’s. Hope to get back here again!

What an awesome place. The owners are very personable and helpful. You could tell they love and are excited about their campground and the area.
The grounds are impeccable green lush. The little chapel!!
The spots may be a little tight but everything else makes up for it!!!

Best camp hosts ever. Friendly and professional. Clean, quiet park. Relaxing country views. Close to antique shops and supper clubs. WiFi allowed us to stream with few delays. Not much for little kids to do but we didn’t have any with us! Spots are a little close but the owner got us parked and leveled with ease. Definitely recommend.

We stayed at Rustic Barn Campground & RV Park July 31 & 7 August 2021, coming and going on a trip to Michigan. Their RV park was clean and easy to get into and out of our pull through spot. It has a very large area that our dog enjoyed. It was extremely clean and well cared for. The restrooms were clean. I would definitely stay here again if it fit our travel schedule. Thanks for an enjoyable two nights!!

This is hands down the best campground we have ever stayed in! It's located on a shady hill with a beautiful view of a dairy farm in the valley. The grounds are extremely well kept. Everything is immaculate from the sites to the bathrooms. The hosts are friendly and helpful. Honestly can't say enough good things about our camping experience at Rustic Barn! It really deserves a rating of more than 5 stars!

I was so happy with the campground. When we arrived, the owners moved us to an available semi-private lot and the view was spectacular. The sunset over the farm and field below was breathtaking.
Campground was neat as a pin and well maintained. Had several yard games available and the barn was very cool. So pleased with everything!
