Located next to Adventures in Kayaking, this winery is very worth a stop! There is a nice indoor seating area as well as outdoor tables in the back. You can carry your tasting sample in a special wooden carrier and take them out back.
Harbinger wines have unique blends and flavors that made them stand out. We like barrel aged Chardonnays, Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noirs. We bought bottles of Harbinger: Pipe, El Jefe, Babera, Malbec, and Cabernet.
Tip: You can bring a half case or a case for free on your flight (no baggage fees) due to a special exemption for Washington wineries. Verify with

There are not enough words to say how lovely my experience was at Harbinger! With both outdoor seating and indoor seating options, this place had a lovely aesthetic feeling! There are cute things to buy inside and a nice patio outside. Our group had both tastings of red and white and I had a glass of red - it was all awesome! Our server, Kristin, was absolutely stunning. Not only did she give us great insight on all of the wine options, but she entertained us with the history of the winery itself. Kristin made sure we were comfortable out on the patio and even treated us with some tasty chocolates

Stood waiting for 10 minutes, server looked at us and started talking with friends.
We are not local. They only seem interested in their local friends.
Better experiences and service to be found elsewhere.

My friends and I had a phenomenal time visiting Harbinger Winery. A few of us ordered the tasting selection while others just had a glass— but everything we tried was amazing!
Kristin poured our wine and made sure we had an amazing time. She filled us in about the origins of the winery (be sure to ask if you are curious!) and brought us a couple squares of chocolate to enjoy with our wine. She made our experience fantastic.
Thanks Kristin and Harbinger! We hope to be back again one day!!!

Love this winery. Lots of interesting wines to choose from, including some lesser known varietals. I'm very fond of their Malbec and my wife likes their Riesling. Great staff as well!

Great hospitality, a cool selection of interesting wines and artwork (also for sale) by local artists, and a cosy, well-spaced outdoor seating area. We enjoyed our impromptu stop at Harbinger while exploring the area. Highly recommend!

We happened to walk in the winery at the same time as several other groups so there was a small wait, which was totally understandable. The girl working was extremely communicative and knowledgeable. We loved the El Hefe and Albariño wines the most, but found others we liked too. We sat on the back porch outside and was able to see the winemaker working. It was a great environment and some snacks available for purchase too. Enjoyed the experience thoroughly!

Really nice wines and great service. They serve flights and don't waive the cost with purchase which was a little bit of a bummer, but prices were reasonable. Indoor and outdoor service available.

I would give 0 but it's not an option. This refers to customer service. I've enjoyed the Harbinger wines I have tried but I would not recommend ordering for delivery. i ordered some wine and apparently FedEx lost or misplaced it. According to FedEx the shipper must file a claim for a loss; I am not able to do so. I have contacted the winery twice with no response from those in charge of orders and shipping. The first time was by phone where I explained the situation on a voicemail message. I received no response. I made a trip to the winery to attempt to discuss the situation - I live

KELLY was amazing. She took care of my boyfriend and I. We are from out of town and we found this place to try out. Would come back again, and hope Kelly is there. :)
The decor is super cute as well. We could tel Kelly shows the guests she cares about them and wants you to enjoy your drinks and your experience. We bought two wine bottles to try out later. Really Fair prices for the bottles which are created by the owner

Great spot with a lovely heated outdoor area to taste wine safely. The wine is special but not as special as Kelly, the fun and entertaining hostess that makes everyone feel welcome. We probably would have returned for the wine but will definitely Joey return to see Kelly again. Just go there. You won't be disappointed.

We stopped to try this place out during Covid. They did a great job at social distancing the customers. We sat outside and Kelly was our server. She made our wine tasting visit very pleasant. $10 for a flight of various wines was worth the stop. The locals were just as friendly as we walked in. This was a smaller facility and had that hometown feel. We would definitely return.

Had a good wine tasting of six different wines for $10 which included a wine glass. The person hosting the wine tasting did a very good job and was very knowledgeable and friendly. A relaxed atmosphere without being pretentious. We chose a wine that was off the menu, the blackberry bliss, with a wonderful aroma and taste. Would definitely recommend this winery experience.

"Service Animal Only," on the door we actually can read, and read that just fine so we knew it was fine to bring in our 3 lb Yorkie (as she is a service animal), immediately we were shunned and asked if she was a "real service dog," we told the waitress we could get the paperwork to authenticate, she then asked "I cant tell if you're joking or not, where's her vest?" At this point we decided this place was not for us and decided to go to Camaraderi, much more friendly, dogs welcome and no need to provide paperwork. Be careful Harbinger asking too many questions

Dear Sara & friends, found '06 Petit Sarah in the bottom, back side of cooler yesterday. Thought, oh CRAP, it's probably dead. Had with take out this evening with angel hair spaghetti/bolonese sauce. IT WAS FABULOUS, opened, poured, took a snort of nose, toasted and sipped ( being worried ). Man oh man, it was good. Folks down here have enjoyed about 6-8 bottles Harbinger's wines over the past 3 years, at our house - NO complaints yet. Thanks for producing a great product. All that is left are 2 Blackberry. Maybe, see u all next year. Mel & Judy

Gold. Pure gold. A must stop in for delicious wine, fantastic art, comfortable seating, top notch service. Kelly will make your day!! Can’t emphasize enough, how amazing she is! This place has changed my life. Come here. Go here!! The cheese and meat plate is good, and they also serve beer if you don’t like wine. No excuse not to stop in, located on the Olympic Peninsula, wine glass included in tasting to bring home. But really, it’s all about Kelly, she’s pure gold.

Stopped over at Harbinger for some wine tasting.
The server was super friendly and fun. The wines we liked the most were the Jefe, a blend of Granache Mouvedre and Syrah, and we took a bottle home. The Barbera was also a standout from the tasting list. They had some cool art available as well. They have a nice outdoor area out back to enjoy the cool summer in Port Angeles.

I think this is one of the best wineries in the WA state where we've been. Just try their sample for 10$ and get their branded glass. They have nice smooth wine collection. After wine tasting we've bought one bottle of this winery. Great interior with good wines what else do you need for good relaxing?
Definitely we will come in again while we will be in there places
