Advanced Psychiatric Associates is an integrated team of psychiatrists, an advanced practice psychiatric nurse, a clinical psychologist, and a clinical social worker. We provide a full range of comprehensive services to children, adolescents, and adults. Our providers have expertise in multiple sub-specialties in psychiatry including child and adolescent psychiatry; geriatric psychiatry; and, addiction psychiatry.
Telemedicine is the process of providing health care from a distance through technology, often using videoconferencing. Telepsychiatry or Virtual Psychiatry, a subset of telemedicine, involves providing a range of services including psychiatric evaluations, therapy (individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy), patient education and medication management.
All of our psychiatrists have completed additional fellowship training in child and adolescent psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry, community psychiatry, or addiction medicine. Our therapists have undergone specialized training in a variety of areas including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), family-based therapy for eating disorders (FBT), and psychodynamic psychotherapy.
Wilbert Yeung, MD is dual board-certified in Adult Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Yeung completed his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry at Harvard University before attending medical school at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
He completed a Triple Board Residency in Pediatrics, Adult Psychiatry, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Brown University, where he served as an Assistant Instructor and Chief Resident.

Amanda B. Carlin, PhD is a licensed psychologist specializing in the treatment of children, adolescents, adults and families. Dr. Carlin also holds a certificate in Family Based Treatment (FBT), the gold standard in eating and feeding disorders treatment. Dr. Carlin utilizes an integrative approach to psychotherapy in order to aid clients in moving towards change and improvements in overall well-being.

Advanced Psychiatrics -- the office where the staff are crazier than the patients. After paying $200/m for 4 years (no insurance accepted) and 15 minute sessions where I had to remind the "doctors" of the medicine changes they had made the month prior or answer the same set of questions each time, I bounced a check after grabbing one from the wrong book. After weeks of harrassment, I ceased my 'relationship' with these thieves, whose front desk of 4+ rotating incompetent bobble-heads (need a prescription that could lead to seizures if stopped? they might get that message to the doctor next week
