This is the second project that Southern Home has done for me. In 2020 they remodeled my Master bathroom. Got rid of tub and small shower and built a beautiful glass enclosed walk in shower. Today’s project was an enclosed patio with ceiling fan, two new electrical outlets, solar screen windows and storm door. We love it and I don’t have to worry about these Texas mosquitoes. Southern Home does great work. No surprises as everything is laid out before work begins. I highly recommend this company if you are thinking about having some work done. I'm very happy with my project and the owners were very courteous and attentive. I have had other projects completed at my home where the contractors did not show up and did poor work. The owners were very easy to get ahold of and if I had a question they would respond back promptly. I highly recommend this company to others needing a construction project.

Ugh, I wouldn't do it! Great talk up front and everything sounds good until you sign the contract and then "change order" become their favorite words. At the end it didn't work as they weren't able to fix the issues we found. It was a shame as it translated in additional headaches and costs to us. Also be prepared to do intensive cleaning afterwards. Adjacent rooms were a mess and we can still find fine dust to this day. I recommend going somewhere else!
