Morris Catholic High School
Morris Catholic High School is a coeducational college preparatory school, founded in 1957 by Bishop McNulty in the Diocese of Paterson. We enroll approximately 450 students, grades 9 through 12. The community is diverse and seeks to nurture the growth of each student. Our culture reflects the belief that every student has infinite value, every student matters.

Our community offers excellent academics and seeks to meet the needs of all students. We offer 19 AP courses, a science and humanities academy, and tiered support services for different learners. Participation in co-curriculars is essential to the Morris Catholic experience.
Services
Morris Catholic exists to strengthen young men and women intellectually and spiritually so they can develop character, respect for community, and lifelong commitment through the love of Christ. Since 1957, our school building has served our community and created an environment for our students to thrive.
Morris Catholic exists to strengthen young men and women intellectually and spiritually so they can develop character, respect for community and lifelong commitment through the love of Christ. We are asked this question often since there are so many options for high school in northern New Jersey. In short, the Morris Catholic mission is about identifying, attracting and training student leaders.
Spiritual Life is at the heart of life at Morris Catholic. Daily prayer and liturgies, school liturgies, retreats, religious symbols, and an atmosphere of respect are all important components of our Catholic faith. All students also take a four-year program in Theology classes.

We feel that our statement of purpose - To educate young men and women to grow in character, community and commitment through a knowledge of the love of Christ - is omnipresent in our mindset and actions, and guides us in all that we do for our students and school community.

My son had a miserable freshman year at another private catholic high school. He transferred to MC in his sophomore year and has flourished under the guidance of an amazing teaching staff and incredibly supportive administration. The students were welcoming and kind and he has made some great friends.

My child is starting in September as a freshman and the entire application process has been so easy. She’s so excited she wishes she could start tomorrow! Everyone we have dealt with at the school were wonderful and Father Peter, their new president, is especially amazing. My daughter thought he was awwsome once she had her interview with him and it just solidified that we made the right choice.

My daughter found beautiful group of caring people to share 4 years of her life with. To the downers grading this fine institution by the fallouts of single familie or whatever else - look around your neighborhood , your own life and stop judging. This is what Morris Catholic teaches - acceptance and forgiveness .
