I'm Christina and I have a confession to make. I would probably be a Party Crasher if I was not an Event Planner! I love everything about them and everything they stand for. I love them so much I set out on a journey almost 20 years ago to do what I love as a career. My story starts in hospitality 20 years ago while attending college bartending and serving in restaurants.

After graduating with a BFA in Interior Architectural Design and a Minor in Hospitality Management, I worked for MTV and VH-1 for 5 years working in production and eventually landed in events producing launch and wrap parties and show screenings. In 2008, I created The Events Boutique out of love and passion for the industry.

The Events Boutique is a Bespoke Event Planning & Design company established on a vision for original, personalized, and unique events. We don't do cookie cutter. With an extensive background in hospitality, entertainment, and event production, as well as set and interior design, we bring unique and handcrafted celebrations while bringing a fresh point of view.
We understand we may not jive like "wine and cheese" with everyone so we want to share as much of who we are as possible with you. Please take a moment to learn about us and the type of client we work with best. Hopefully you like "wine and cheese" because we cannot wait to hear from you!. Our experience CANNOT be rivaled.
Did you know that every single event that we get hired for, we give back a portion of our proceeds to local and national charities throughout the year. We are in the business of happiness and we want to spread that around as much as we can. All the charities below have touched our hearts in a very personal way which is why they were chosen but if you have a charity you would like us to donate to for your event just let us know.
You are super organized, have booked all your vendors, "Pinned" everything under the sun, read every single blog, and probably DIY'd a few things. Now what? Rome was not built in one day as they say, and we sure do believe that. This package begins 4-6 weeks before your wedding. How does it all come together?

We first met Christina through the South Coast Botanic Garden, and immediately my fiancée and I felt less stress about the overwhelming task of planning a wedding. She could not have been more generous with her time, showing us the entire Garden.
After we hired her as a wedding coordinator, she has always replied to all of our texts and emails, being generous with her time, any time or day. Hiring her has been one of the best decisions we have made because she has been a tremendous help with recommendations for vendors and overall planning and budgeting.

I can't thank the events boutique enough for all that they did. We went into our wedding day unsure of how beneficial a day-of wedding planner would actually be (we were very involved and hands-on with our wedding) but when the day came we realized how necessary and how helpful Cory and Taneel really were. They were ALWAYS 3 steps ahead of us, completely on top of everything, so patient and understanding when we had a hiccup with our venue... 48 HOURS BEFORE OUR WEDDING!!!! Taneel dealt with all of our vendors for us and updated them on the venue change when we weren't able to handle dealing with

I used The Events Boutique for my wedding this August in Spokane, Washington.
Taneel LaForte was my wedding planner and day of coordinator, we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. Taneel thought of things before I even had time to worry about them.
