GreenRock Recycling and Shale Pit is a division of the Brian Plushanski Construction Company. Brian started his excavating business over 35 years ago. After decades, the construction business became pro-active and environmentally sensitive. To be more "green" and cost-efficient, BPCC began crushing rock and concrete on-site and re-using the crushed material.
BPCC then purchased an old shale pit, which would become the new location of GreenRock Recycling. GreenRock Recycling is a full-service family owned and operated businesses serving commercial and residential clients. GreenRock Recycling LLC is the newest business offering, built upon the same expertise and commitment to customer services and satisfaction that is the bedrock of our other Plushanski businesses. GreenRock is a Class-B facility producing the highest quality construction and demolition materials for resale to residential, municipal and commercial customers.
GreenRock Recycling takes great pride in producing the finest recycled products for our Commercial and Residential landscaper and municipal customers. GreenRock provides several types of mulch. Our chemical-free colored mulches provide a very rich appearance that holds its color throughout the seasons.
GreenRock Crushes or Grinds all accepted materials on site with our own equipment. Crushing concrete allows us to produce our own DOT Certified RCA (Recycled Concrete Aggregate), a highly compactable base material. RCA is a great base for roads, driveways, trenches, walkways and sheds etc. RCA is roughly half the price of stone products purchased from a quarry and can be picked or delivered from our facility.

Over the past few days I’ve had two separate deliveries from green rock recycling at my house in Pittstown.
The first day they delivered 20 tons of gravel for my driveway and the following day I had them deliver 7 yards of mulch.
The entire process from start to finish was extremely easy and the people I dealt with from the manager over the phone when placing the order to the truck delivery guys.
The quality of their materials was top notch I have no complaints and I am really happy with everything that green rock recycling supplied me with.
I would highly recommend them to anybody looking
