Jones Paving

Worst contractor ever! Damaged my property instead of constructing new porch, driveway, retaining wall and cement work and refuses to fulfill and complete his contract obligations. Look at the 5 photos included in this review of what I'm left with after he collected $17,000.00 on a $27,000.00 contract. I'm getting quotes of over $30,000.00 to repair this mess he's abandoned.

Mark and his guys came highly recommended and did not disappoint. Our driveway was a huge disaster after Ida, to put it mildly. These guys really had their work cut out for them. Jones and Son Paving just finished repaving my parking lot. They did a beautiful job applying a sound 2 in thick layer of asphalt and 2 weeks later applied an oil-based coating to seal it for 5 years. Mark Jones called me and went immediately to my property and gave an estimate to cap my driveway and repair the holes. His pricing was excellent as I had received a number of estimates from other contractors for a very difficult steep driveway that had to be laid and compacted by hand. He Notified me of when he was coming and then again that he would be approximately 1/2 hour late. His men then showed up and did an extraordinary job. I will use him again at my mothers property and have given his name out to many people already.

Very bad expensive experience. Embarrassingly poor work. Had to rope off areas due to high risk injuries after owner claimed work was complete. Should never pay until work is completed. Owner consistently begging for money before work is near complete. Very much in a rush to get paid before work is done. Pulled workers off our job 4 times during 2 week period to pave driveways he had prospected while working on our property.. He fired 3 workers, one for inappropriate behavior, second for staining/scratching treads and last, the masonry worker the only after we brought it to his attention. Started

I came across this company as a cold call. They drove by my house while I was outside and asked to look at the driveway. Said sure and was given an en estimate for cracks to be filled, an area to be repaved due to settling and a few spots where there were dips in the driveway and sealcoating. Owner said guys were paid for for the day and they could do the work right away. Since having the work done over a year ago I have been in contact with the owner at least 4 or more times and he has even been back to look at what needed to be fixed.
