Patrick Lawrence Gibson, a native of beautiful Kentucky, realized his passion for hair as a young teen. Ditching the New York Fashion Scene after a taste of modeling, Patrick took his work back stage where he worked to create runway ready hair. This developed a lingering hunger and curiosity. Patrick moved to Chicago, to train with the Elite; Paul Mitchell the School.
Following his formal training Patrick sought out the leading stylists and received in-depth mentorship from artists including International Platform Artist BJ Noman, The Hairdresser's Hairdresser Vivienne Mackinder, Hair Extension Expert Autumn Houston, and Hunger Games stylist & colorist Cheri Peterbrink.

Patrick was my stylist and he is PHENOMENAL. I went from having long hair to above my shoulders and he took his time to figure out not just what I wanted, but what would work with my life style and hair texture. The cut itself is perfect. I couldn't have asked for better. And he is such a doll. The salon is a bargain for how well they treat you and the amazing results.

My husband and I just moved to San Diego about 3 months ago. I can't tell you how stressful it was to leave my "stylist / friend" where I use to live. I wanted a new salon that I could walk to from my loft in Little Italy but was not willing to compromise on quality and comfort. After walking by the Autumn Houston Salon a few times, I apprehensively went in and asked if there was anyone that could give m a basic cut and color. I was immediately greeted with such friendliness and warmth by the entire staff. I made an appointment, but after only 2 trial runs my stylist had moved on

To put in perspective how highly I value the relationship I have with hair stylist Patrick Gibson, let me start by saying this is the first time I have ever written a YELP review. His professionalism, skill set, and what I now consider creative artistic ability when it comes to hair styling (I used to just call it getting a haircut) are 2nd to none. Patrick Gibson is just wonderful all around! I have had about 3 haircuts with him and he does such a fabulous job. I wouldn't go anywhere else. He's sweet as pie and I feel like I went to therapy and came out beautiful and relaxed every time.
The Salon is super clean and the staff is always so nice and helpful. I have enjoyed my experience so much I've referred my Mother who is actually a hairdresser! If that doesn't say something about Patrick's work- then nothing will.
You're in good hands with him.
