I recently moved to the area from and thought I would give Shoreline a try since it is the closest dry cleaners to my house. I use to be a huge dry cleaner customer when I lived in downtown Chicago. On my 3rd or 4th trip they put a hole in one of my shirts. I brought the shirt to them last night (2/11/20) and I asked the owner how they handle a hole they made. He said, "we take care of it." He asked me how much I paid for the shirt, realized it was relatively new and gave me a more than fair settlement. I have never dealt with a business in any industry that was so willing to make amends and please

I dropped my wedding dress off to get cleaned and preserved. I was told it would take a 1 month to complete. 7 weeks later I hadn't heard anything from them and I stopped by and was told another 1.5 weeks (8 weeks total). My suggestion is to tell customers and appropriate time line and if its going to be late give them a call to communicate this information.
