We are a full-service Pilates studio offering classes and private instruction on the Reformer, Tower, Exo-chair and CoreAlign. Whether you are an athlete trying to improve your game, recovering from an injury, or just want to get in shape, our studio has the answer. Our Pilates program is based on the teachings of Joe Pilates with a contemporary interpretation.
Classes on the Reformer are either 201 (Intermediate) or 301 (Intermediate to Advanced) and require that students have a solid base of knowledge from another studio or have taken private pilates classes with one of our instructors. A system of exercises using special apparatus, designed to improve physical strength, flexibility, and posture, and enhance mental awareness.

Reformer 201 / Beginner - Intermediate Level: The best way to achieve the full benefits of Pilates Reformer workouts is to take increasingly challenging classes. If you are a beginning reformer student you will need to complete a course of six private lessons before participating in group classes. This class is designed for the intermediate student.
Heidi Danahy has been an American Council on Exercise (ACE) and Lifestyle Fitness Coach for over 20 years. She has taught a variety of fitness classes across the country and developed a successful fitness consulting business on the East Coast. Opening Priya Pilates & Fitness is the culmination of her dreams.

CoreAlign training is perfect for working on developing good, upright posture while also developing balance and core strength. It was developed by physical therapist Jonathan Hoffman to help those recovering from injury as well as those seeking a workout that will fine-tune their athletic abilities.

Loved my Pilates class with Heidi & classmates. I'm in town for the month & didn't want to completely loose the progress I'd made at my studio at home. THIS class was BETTER than my go to! Heidi provided hands on instruction & adjustments. Wow what a workout & I felt great afterwards. I signed up for more classes during my stay!

I have always had an active lifestyle and have tried all types of exercise classes. Last year I joined Priya Pilates and found the class to be the best fit for my activity level. Having worked with both Sandy and Heidi in the classes; I can honestly say they are very professional, attentive and always very innovative in their work.
Lately I had neck pain mostly due to my incorrect posture at work and body injuries from the past. I started to do private classes with Sandy Locher and the improvement is just amazing. I am learning to stand in the right posture through the day and to properly use
