Surfside Non-Surgical Orthopedics
The goal of non-surgical orthopedics is to exhaust all options to treat a patient's pain prior to considering surgery. Osteopathic medicine (DO's) is parallel to traditional medicine (MD's) but differs in the additional training and philosophy offered at Osteopathic Medical School. It focuses on the whole person and the body's innate ability to heal itself.

Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy (OMT) involves using the hands to diagnose, treat, and prevent illness or injury. With our years of experience combined with the latest technology, we endeavor to improve your function and quality of life effected by all types of pain. Not only is Dr. Chapman an absolute treasure, his whole staff is as well!
Services
Primary Care Sports Medicine is a medical subspecialty available to both MD's and DO's. It is a one year non-surgical fellowship that can be undertaken after a full primary care residency is completed and requires successful completion of a Fellowship and a written Board exam. Its medical focus is in the treatment and prevention of injuries related to sports and exercise.
Family medicine (FM), formerly family practice (FP), is a medical specialty devoted to comprehensive health care for people of all ages and includes pediatrics and women's health. It is a three year primary care residency that includes training in inpatient hospital care and outpatient office care.
Today, the internet is the first place we look for information on everything from DVD players to plants. As a physician, my reputation is everything, and the internet is a big part of that. If you would like to share your experience to help others understand what I do and how I can help them, I have compiled a list of sites and steps to make it easy.
Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy (OMT) involves using the hands to diagnose, treat, and prevent illness or injury. Using OMT, an osteopathic physician will move your muscles, joints, and fascia using a variety of techniques often including stretching, positioning, pressure, resistance, and gentle articulation.
Complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) is a popular term commonly used to describe health and wellness therapies when used along with (complementary) or in place of (alternative) traditional mainstream medicine. In CAM there is a strong focus on the integration of mind, body, and spirit.

Adjunctive therapies commonly associated with CAM are: manipulative medicine, supplement and herbal medicine, homeopathic medicine, acupuncture, yoga, and Tai Chi to name just a few. Here at Surfside Non-Surgical Orthopedics our goal is to use every safe method available to relieve suffering, dysfunction, and disease.

Dr. Chapman and staff were amazing! I’ve been to other doctors and chiropractors. Who all didn’t take the time or care of me. Dr. Chapman was transparent about therapy, timeline, and rehab. I won’t go anywhere else. I’d give more stars if I could!!!

Once again, Dr. Chapman has made me pain free. I have had severe shoulder pain for over 2 years. He is really patient, caring and takes time to explain everything to you. When his nurse mentioned "injection" to me I was ready to run to the hills LOL. However, I DID NOT FEEL A THING!! I got so emotional after the shoulder injection because it was painless. Anyone who has had a bad experience with him is someone that can't be pleased. He and his staff are kind, pleasant and patient. They eased my anxiety about the injection. I would recommend him to anyone. Thank you again Dr. Chapman. He even took

This was an amazing office! Great Dr. who took me in and tried to address my issue. I was told the visit would be $150.00. I have a high deductible on my insurance policy and was asked If I could pay the $150 in cash - I agreed. Now I have a bill that went up to $225, and an EOB! When told the visit would be $150.00, I was not expecting another bill. The billing person on the phone basically called me a liar, has all the notes right there, and that I am wrong. Poor, poor woman she does not know how to handle patients - shouting loudly and speaking over me. Then asked me to call back on Monday.

Dr. Chapman and his staff are amazing!! I have never met a doctor that actually made me feel like he really wanted me to get better until now!
A year ago I injured myself training for a mud run and kayaking...basically overdoing it working out to much. I lost use of my right arm for 3 months due to a pinched nerve in my neck and messed up my scapula pretty bad. I have been in physical therapy for a year and I have had improvements there but it was not consistent and I was always in some kind of pain. On top of that I haven't really had 100% use of my right arm and my left arm was showing signs
