Hi Everyone, (updated 10.6.2021)
This review is being edited under threat of legal action being taken against me and my family if I did not edit this review at this time.
I absolutely cannot and will not ever recommend Parkridge Apartments or any Greystar Community Property for residency for multiple substantiated reasons.
The exact reasons are unable to be posted in great detail at this time.
I highly suggest contacting neighbors in these communities in person directly for honest and unfiltered opinions before signing your lease.

What you need to know before deciding to move to this complex: just don't. Parkridge is a Greystar community. And lesson learned, Greystar is only after your money and truly does not care about you.
Horrible lack of timely communication. I never received a move out statement, I had to ask management MULTIPLE times. When it was finally emailed it to me, it included a late fee.
The indoor complex hallways smell of garbage, smoke, and are filthy. People leave their trash near the entrance all the time. The building isn't secure, some of the exterior doors don't even lock. There were

Parkridge is the best apartment community I have ever lived at! It’s clean, quiet and beautiful with all the trees! Everyone is respectful and nice; full of families/kids. Location is awesome! Office and maintenance staff are very nice! The only thing I was upset about was that the apartment was not as clean as it should have been. But the office team understood and sent a cleaning crew for our carpet and blinds!

I have been living here for over 3 years now. I must say the staff that is now on property is the best they have ever had! The staff now has definitely been making things happen. The property has been getting facelifts and getting things done that residents have been requesting for years. Before covid the resident parties and breakfast Togo mornings were my favorite and hope those continue after the pandemic. Rhys and Noel in the office are so friendly. Definitely get the “Cheers” vibe from them.
The only “negative “ would probably be that the yard in front of my place, since it’s not

My boyfriend and I had a 1-bedroom apartment here awhile back. When we leased our unit, the staff in the leasing office were friendly and efficient, making it easy to go through the leasing process. We ended up with an adorable unit, well renovated, and spacious at around 750 square feet. Compared to Bay Area rent prices it was incredibly affordable, especially considering the amenities, and location.
Our apartment had a view of trees off the back which was lovely and scenic. We had no problems with bugs, smells or noise like some of the other reviewers, and even though we'd initially intended

I have made my home at Parkridge since 2007 and I am very happy with that. Parkridge is a nice quiet community located very close to allot of exciting community things and places. The staff here at Parkridge are second to none! I love the park/forest like living area and the people that live here are generally very community oriented. You will not regret making Parkridge your home!!!

I was in a house for 20 years before coming to Parkridge. I was a little nervous coming from a house to an apartment, but I had nothing to be nervous about Parkridge was amazing! I called this place my home for three years. It is pristine, and everyday I woke up to the surrounding woods. It's like living in a park, no joke! The amenities are outstanding and Mt. Park Rec Center is awesome. Shellie and Courtney in the office are the most beautiful, kind, sincere and professional management team I have ever dealt with. Plus, they throw great parties! Maintenance is friendly and will repair immediately

I've really enjoyed my living experience at Parkridge. I work long hours so the online payment system is a huge help to me. In addition, any work orders that I have put in have been fixed almost immediately. All in all, it's a great location and a great value. Plus, I love my apartment! It's has modern finishes without paying downtown Portland prices.

The management staff is friendly and relatively responsive, but they don't seem empowered to resolve real complaints, particularly related to noise. The clubhouse is a nice amenity, but I never had a reason to use it. The pool area and hot tub are lovely and well kept, as are the grounds and landscaping.
Some of the units have updated finishes, but the bones of the buildings are old and tired. This is made obvious by atrocious noise transference from neighbors above. Every footstep, dog bark, and opening/closing of every door, drawer and cabinet was perfectly audible. At certain times

I had the opportunity to visit these apartment buildings in late March 2017.
I must admit I was a bit skeptical reading past reviews but I am happy to say I did not have any negative experiences on my visit here.
I was greeted by the manager, Shellie, who was very kind, friendly, and quite informative.
She was able to answer any and every question I had regarding the apartments, rent, maintenance, etc.
I went on a walking tour of the grounds during the day and found the complex was large and kept up well, very clean.
It seemed like a nice, quiet place to reside in Oregon.

I recently moved out of Parkridge Apartments because the year I lived there was the worst rental experience I've ever had. It only got worse after I moved out.
The management is frequently unavailable and rarely helpful when they are present. There was hardly a week that went by that I wasn't disrupted in some way by cosmetic construction going on in and around the building. On more than one occasion I was either confined to my apartment or unable to re-enter it due to the aforementioned construction (things like painting handrails on walkways, refinishing the 6 inch strip of wood at

This place will financially ruin you.
Don't even bother moving in here. They are extremely over priced and will do anything to get more money out of you. I mean their late fee is almost $180. I currently live here right now and i'm saving to move out asap.
They have so many rules and requirements that it's like living in a prison and you pay for the hostility. The office staff is rude and really just doesn't care what you want. Every time I walk in I get an eye roll and a sigh. The only person i enjoy in the office is a girl named Courtney. She's nice but also very

There seems to be a constant lack of respect for the tenants in regards to noise. There is constant construction that they never told me about when I moved in. I feel they deliberately didn't tell me until after I paid my movers. The maintenance crew is everywhere in their noisy golf carts, talking loudly on their phones wherever they want (usually outside of my window).
The building's on-site management is friendly, but does not seem to care about any of my concerns.
There are constant postings on our doors regarding new rules for the building (its like living in with an HOA).

Ongoing construction of one kind or another. More barking dogs than ever before, there is NO peace and quiet here. There are constant interruptions in the quality of life here. These are addressed in notes and letters taped to doors on a weekly basis stating these incidents will have little impact on the residents. Clearly they do not live here.

I have nothing but nice things to say regarding this property, the units and the staff. I have witnessed first hand how the management handles complaints with tenants as I have been directly involved with a tenant/vendor issue. The tenant was reimbursed quickly for a towel that a vendor had thrown away. The management handled it at a very high level of importance which was much appreciated as well as extremely professionally. The maintenance staff are always friendly to speak with and truly enjoy what they do. Parkridge is a very friendly and clean apartment complex. I would recommend this property
