Becoming an ophthalmologist requires a medical degree and completing residency like other branches of medicine. Some ophthalmologists can undergo additional training if they choose and focus on a specialty within the field. Ophthalmology training covers the entire spectrum of eye care.

At HOUR GLASS OPTICAL, we strive to meet all of your eye and vision care needs. Corrective lens evaluations and prescription management are provided by our optometrist in Montgomery. After a comprehensive eye and vision evaluation, Mr. Danny Williams will discuss the variety of contact lens options with you to select the type that best fits your vision needs and lifestyle.
Contact lenses, like eyeglasses or vision surgery, can correct nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism. About 20 percent of Americans who need vision correction for these refractive errors wear contact lenses. While some people enjoy making a fashion statement with eyeglasses, others prefer their appearance without them.
Bifocal and multifocal contact lenses are designed to restore vision at all distances for people over age 40 who have presbyopia and would otherwise need to wear reading glasses over their contacts. Bifocal and multifocal contact lenses are available in both soft and rigid gas permeable (GP) materials.

Work forces. Frames are guarantee.
Every since l been wearing glasses, All of the other Optical places, Can never quite get my adjustments right, Because of my uneven ears and eyes. My adjustments would be very difficult for them to do. Hour Glass is the place to go.
Mr. Danny Williams and others will not
let you walk out the door until you received a good Custom fit and that exactly what I needed.
Also I find that the worker,s are friendly and they remember the Customer by name

Well ... if I could give Mr. Williams and his staff a 5+ then I would! Last year they helped me out of a tough situation when my glasses broke by going the extra mile to help me out. Today I was in-and-out in less than 2 hours with a complete exam, new prescription, and new glasses. While I was there I also had the privilege of seeing a 2 year old put glasses on for the first time and watching the kid's reaction was priceless! Great attention to detail and great customer service! HGO rocks!

Friendly staff, quick service! We needed to get glasses immediately for our daughter and we were able to make a same-day appointment. The staff was very helpful when we first arrived and we did not have to wait to be seen. They took our daughter back as soon as we got there. The staff was extremely polite to us. They got our daughter glasses within an hour or so. We will definitely go back here if/when we need glasses in the future. Thank you!

Easily the best place I have ever been for eye exams, selection, fitting and a product made on premises. I started going to Perry Hill Road Hourglass in the early 1990's and Danny and his staff have been my preferred providers ever since. The staff are extremely professional and the team in the back are second to none. Without hesitation, I recommend Hourglass Optical to anyone needing vision care.
