Received a referral to this business and tried to call for an appointment, recording said I was calling outside of business hours, but I was calling at around 0930 on a Thursday. Saw that others on Yelp made comments about the business' phone system and the answer from the Office Manager always seems to be they are switching systems. The reviews are over many years, so not sure what the problem is.
Left a message and have not gotten a callback. Tried calling again later in the morning and got the same recording, but when I went to try and leave another message, the system would not

This place is a joke. I thought I would try this office out since my doctor was retiring. First the exam was less then 5 minutes. They gave me contacts to try, when I went back I told the worker I couldn't see and if I could try another pair. She tells me that's the only 2 pair they had for my eyes. I asked if I could order the ones I usually wear. Not remembering the name, I returned the next day with the box. She looked at me and says. "You have astigmatism you can't wear those". I said; "astigmatism, I don't have astigmatism, no one told me I had astigmatism". She says she needed to check with

This is a TERRIBLE OFFICE. They expect us to be understanding of their excessively long wait times, but offer zero flexibility in return. The office staff was so horrible that they drove ne to another eye doctor. When I told them I was going to leave they said it was no big deal because I only rarely been there. Besudes, they ignored the protocols they promised and never asked me a single screening question.

They used to have more than cataract treatment, I was informed I could do cancer reconstruction then they decided to take that off the table with in a month period. Yeah I still kept going the that doctor because I liked her very much she was compassionate and sweet. I’m called and there is no way I can book her I was told she is not available. Not available??? What does that mean. I figure this place changes with the wind like with the cancer reconstruction situation..... how can u trust a place like that? I have being going there for years when the old owner was there. I walked by the new owner

If they would answer the phone I would love to leave a better review... I started calling today at 1:00 it is now 1:52 and still no answer... They say I am calling outside the normal business hours. Well the hours are 9-5 and the answering services says they are in...just give them a few minutes. What..Why..Please If you close then say you are closed and will return so that people don't spend their lunch break calling the office.

Worst place to go for eye appointments no showing is frowned upon at this location and their Drs aren't truly professional if they are turning down help to people who need it. I wouldn't send any of my friends or family members to this location and would strongly advise against it to those whom are truly needing professional eye help

This is for Shoreline Optical, which is in the same building as Shoreline Eye Group.
I am a bit picky when it comes to glasses, and frames, and in the past I have gotten them at upscale places in New York, SF, Los Angeles, and Berlin. But I happen to stop in to Shoreline Optical because a friend was going to an opthamologist next door. And I was pleasantly surprised. The main Optometrist there, Evelyn, is very knowledgeable and helpful. She knows about all the various options that are available today for eye glasses, and trust me, there are many. I have been back a second time for another pair
