Services
Studio Five is one of the leading dance institutions in Fuquay-Varina. At our school, we encourage kindness while nurturing our students' minds, bodies and souls. Established in 2007, we believe that every child has unique abilities and talents. We treat each child as an individual and work with them to build their skills and confidence.
As a former dancer and dance instructor, I'm pretty picky about where my daughter takes dance. I love Studio Five because it offers both technique and a dance family. My daughter is pushed to do her best, but she's still allowed to be a 5 year little girl! We also love our squad! My two toddlers started at Studio Five last February in the Mommy and Me class and are now in the Tippy Toes and Tappy Feet Class.
Studio Five Dance Company encourages ongoing membership for consistency in training and personal relationships, both with fellow students and teachers. With fees payable each month, becoming a student means you'll have access to our regular newsletters and studio events. New students are invited to get started with a free trial class, view our class programs below and contact us to discuss any questions you may have.
S5DC offers a variety of dance classes for all ages and abilities, starting with our Tippy Toes and Tappy Feet program. Our youngest students join us as soon as they have learned to walk for our Mommy and Me program. Come and have some fun as we move to the music. Mommy and Me is a fun class for Moms and toddlers. Students and their parents sing songs, exercise and dance together, work on gross motor skills, and enjoy quality time together.

My daughter is on her second season with Studio 5. She’s loved dance and this year she has Miss Rae. Last year it seemed they were still in the process of hiring teachers and she went through a few during her Tippy Toes class. This year she’s in Kinder Club and I couldn’t say enough good things about Miss Rae. My daughter adores her, she’s very good at keeping time, she keeps the kids attention and she has so much energy and just radiates friendliness. If you’re thinking about signing up try to look for a class with Miss Rae!

This studio is incredible and has been so welcoming. They have become like family and will welcome you with open arms. They offer so many different styles with incredible teachers and teaching styles that cater to each child’s individual needs. Their recreational kids and competition kids are phenomenal and are probably some of the nicest/kindest kids I’ve ever met. The owner, directors and teachers are just overall incredibly kind people. They care about your career beyond the studio but they also care about your interests and life on the outside. They go above professionalism and class. Highly

I have gone back and forth about writing a review, but due to recent events have decided that I needed to. I had written a very positive review below (from 3 years ago), even defending the studio from another student who had written a negative review. Now, unfortunately I have realized that that negative review was actually right in many ways. I am not able to remove that positive review, so I feel the need to update that review. Studio Five Dance Company has been like a HOME to be for a little over a year now. I moved to the area about a year ago and this studio welcomed me with open arms. The owner, staff, and faculty are truly some of the best I've experienced. I've been to a lot of studios and sometimes students can be treated as if they are just another number to a target goal. Not here! From the owner down, it is shown that each student matters, is important, and should be treated like family.

Going against the science, CDC recommendations, and the Governor's orders and forcing children over the age of 2 to continuously wear a mask in the studio and while vigorously exercising is not the definition of a great dance studio. You might want to try not controlling every human that walks through your doors. Especially since now you're going against all recommendations of medical doctors and politicians.
