Serving OC since 1973, Nick Papageorges and Saddleback Cars are the continuation of Grimm Performance of Costa Mesa and Tony's Garage of Mission Viejo. Nick acquired both businesses, Grimm in 1989 and Tony's in 2008 over the course of his career in Automotive and Retail Service.

Nick has been taking care of our cars for many years now and it has always been excellent and reliable. Saddleback Cars is a high quality, no BS repair shop. If you are looking for a cheap fix (that’ll most likely cost you more in the end) go elsewhere.

Because of this shop and Nicks tenacity and knowledge my 1987 300ZX passed the smog that had not passed in the past.

We have gone to Nick for all of our auto needs for years. He is fair, honest and gives us the information we need to make decisions as to what needs to be done on the car and when. Most recently my coolant light came on and as I was headed to Arizona I needed it checked immediately. Nick made the time, found no problem, and topped the coolant. He chose not to charge me for this service although I was happy to pay. He is always more than fair. I’m a single mom and in order to make me feel safe driving my two little girls on a spring break road trip, Nick and his team conducted and carried out an exceptional service plan. Not only did I get my car back in less than a day, it had been exquisitely detailed and washed. Saddleback Cars is the best and most reliable car repair shop in all of Orange County. When we moved here 20 years ago we went through many different automotive mechanics/shops who either did not do good work and/or recommended repairs that were not needed. When we finally found Saddleback Cars and Nick (the owner) we were so relieved to finally have an automotive shop we could trust. We have recommended Nick/Saddleback Cars to many of our friends who have been just as satisfied with their repairs.
