The Mansion is open for visits/tours by appointment only Mondays-Thursdays. A reminder that the building and grounds are closed to the public when a private event taking place. Signs will be posted on our drive during events. It is the most special day of your life.

Services
The Parklands at Long Hill are a vast natural resource open for the enjoyment of the community. Along with an unusual assortment of exotic and rare plants and trees, there are several interesting nature trails that highlight the Wadsworth family's love of the environment. The Parklands are open daily from sunrise through sunset for passive recreation.
To involve those interested, no matter where they live, in the renewal and enhancement of one of Connecticut's jewels. To support and foster Long Hill Estate as an historical park and Mansion, and to promote its use as a public and community resource. To increase public awareness of this city owned park and facility by sponsoring walks, activities, and programs.

I went here in 2016. If you plan to go for a Mansion Tour on the weekend like Newport Mansion Tour, don't bother. They do not give tour of the entire mansion. Everyone will be in the lobby area and the tour guide just stands there and talks about the history.
Response to Owner: I didn't say you guys were Newport Mansion Tour. I was saying if a customer was planning to visit Wadsworth Mansion Tour and actually drove from another state and paid the ticket to actually explore the mansion, then don't bother going to Wadsworth Mansion. That is sad the tour is only given 2-4 PM on a Wednesday. Also

Fabulous place for a wedding. You have to get a little creative, organized and have fun! My "now" son in law invested and rented outside floor, bistro lights, photo booth and great vendors! You'll spend but the memories will last a lifetime! Our guests text us for two days and also asked for an encore! #ThaliaToTheMax
