Comments: I didn't actually see Dr. Seymour since I was just in for a physical but I saw her nurse practitioner Natalie Franks. She was very helpful in going over all my blood work and what I needed to do. Took the time to make suggestions and things I could do to improve in some areas. Most of the time you feel like cattle but they were fantastic here.
At some point in our lives we will all experience a health problem, whether it's the common cold or a pesky flu. While some will go away on their own, there are health issues that require urgent medical attention, and it's important to know when to seek proper treatment. An acute disease appears suddenly and lasts for a short amount of time.

MARIAH WALTON, NP is the best doctor I’ve ever had. She hands down listens to me about my concerns and she educates. Have been in a pit of despair truly not knowing if I would ever feel better. Im not where I want to be but feeling validated and working towards it gives me hope. I went in late in the week desperate to feel better knowing I likely wouldn’t get lab results until later next week. Yet I received a phone call Monday with my results and a plan. I am so grateful for her and this practice!

Not sure what all the bad reviews are about. I've been going to this clinic for 3ish years now and had no serious issues. A couple of snotty nurses that take the vitals, but I don't deal with them for any length of time. The front desk gals are great! My NP is Mariah Walton and she is the best! I've seen Jenny when Mariah was not available and she was wonderful also. I've recommended them to many friends and family in the area.

UNPROFESSIONAL AND INAPPROPRIATE EXPERIENCE!! BEWARE OF MEDICAL ASSOCIATES OF DENTON!!!
Scheduled an appointment. I was running about five minutes behind. Got stuck behind traffic. Called five minutes prior to my appointment and informed the receptionist. She told me not to worry and to continue heading their way. I was around the corner. Pulled into the parking lot and got out of my car. The same receptionist called move back to inform me that I was seven minutes late (it was 9:06 AM) and they have a seven minute late policy, so the physician was unable to see me that day. I informed her that

The nurse was great that did my physical. The lady at the front desk charged me and when I went to the followup they said that there is a followup visit cost. They refuse to go over my blood work with me and said that I have to make a appointment to go over the blood work.
Please do not waste your time with this office.

TERRIBLE!! DO NOT COME HERE!!! I take 45mg of Armour Thyroid, which requires me to get blood work done every 6 months, something that shouldn’t be a big deal. Instead of telling me that it’s time to come in for an appointment or anything like that, they just stop refilling my medication and I don’t know until I get a notification from my pharmacy. So I get the notification on a Saturday with no way of speaking to a Dr so I call and leave a voicemail and the pharmacy gives me a 3 day supply. Mind you, the pharmacy tells me that they have requested a refill from them multiple times and never

I reccoment that people avoid this place like the plague. I've experienced horrible bedside manner and rude secretaries. Of the three times I've been there, I never even met my doctor. The phlebotomist is employed by an external lab that they use for blood work, that charged my insurance for a laundry list of test that not only were not disclosed to me prior, but we're not even run nor covered. I then found out with research that this lab that they are in bed with has an ongoing class action lawsuits against them for doing this kind of thing.
To top it off, they are advertising some kind of "Herbalife

Started off great, but went downhill over the last year. First, I agree with the supplement push. We attended the seminar, only to be told that the program would be $5,000 each. I don't know many people that have that kind of cash, let alone $10,000 for a couple. We had the twice yearly blood tests done, and then I got a strange letter from my insurance company which suggested the reason they were given for the blood work was that I had a condition (which I do not). That raised a red flag. It has been extremely difficult to get our prescriptions refilled, which was never a problem in the past.

Poor service, extremely unprofessional. More interested in selling supplements than providing medical care. They told me it would take days to get my medical records, although they were willing to write me a script without seeing them. i physically went and picked them up myself and brought them back. They still decided to give me a weather script because it was in the nurses opinion that my doctor had no business writing me a script that high. shady and a waste of time.
