Set in a 19th Century textile mill in west central Connecticut Reworx celebrates the unique blend of old and new craftsmanship witnessed in furnishings and objects created from reclaimed woods, rescued pieces, discarded materials, salvaged components, and found items from the past. Reworx is a working wood and metal shop with an interactive design studio like no other representing master crafting of various materials and items.

I first engaged with Reworx at Monger's Market in Bridgeport (they're there on Sundays). After getting a rough quote on a custom dining table and bench, they set me up with an appointment at their location in Watertown so I could look at the available wood. It was worth the trip since I was inspired by some of the pieces they had on site.
Once a design was discussed, Reworx created an engineering drawing with dimensions and specifications that was emailed to me for approval. This step gave me confidence that what we discussed was translated to exactly what I was looking for.

Was excited to finally be able to have a reason to use Reworx and to find a mantle to fit over our fireplace (one that came from only 10 miles from our house). Maureen and Steve were so helpful in choosing and installing it just in time for the holidays. The added touch of reminiscing about Watertown history and people with Steve was an added bonus. Thank you.

We just had a an interior sliding barn door installed yesterday by Reworx. We are extremely happy with the door and how Maureen helped us with the whole project. Maureen helped us choose the right door. All we had to do was take a few measurements and send some pictures. Steve was a pleasure to deal with and the installation went smoothly. They did an excellent clean up job too. I highly recommend Reworx.
