Camp Wesley Woods has been a loved ministry since 1959 with dedicated focus on Summer Camp ministry, Outdoor Education, and Retreat ministry. Whatever the reason for your visit, at Wesley Woods you will find the cornerstones that have made this a special place: a focus on serving others, a commitment to excellence, and a passion for making a positive difference in people's lives.

Camp Wesley Woods is located less than 10 minutes from the Great Smoky Mountains in Townsend, Tennessee. The camp's 700 acres include mountains views with a forested valley with the Capshaw Branch flowing through the middle into the Little River. Camp Wesley Woods offers a wide range of programming.
Thank you for the overwelming response to our summer camps! If you are interested in an open session, we recommend that you put a $50 deposit on the space immediately. Please join a waiting list if you are interested in a session that is full. In depth bible studies, devotions, and times of worship focused on where and how kids grow.
Welcome to your first overnight 1/2 week camp experience! Our nurturing counselors focus on helping our youngest campers make new friends, try new things and become part of our camp community. Discovery 1/2 Week is a first overnight camping experience that includes elements of our traditional mini session and 2 week long camp as well as structured activities and a small group settings.
On and off-site excursions with our fully certified and experienced staff will include: caving, paddling, climbing, camping, hiking, swimming, and high ropes! Adventure Jr. is a true wilderness experience! Campers will sleep in screen huts with no electricity and eat most meals at the Outpost Dining Pavilion!
LIT stands for Leader-in-Training. You will have fun and make friends while learning leadership skills and getting a chance to practice them at camp. This is the first year of our multi-year Servant Leadership Program. Our LIT program offers you the chance to learn what it means to be a servant leader after the example of Jesus.

I had a blast! My counselors were amazing! It was a fun environment and I felt God’s love there. This is an amazing place! I am looking forward to going next year!

When I was kind of new to East TN, learned quite a bit about local flora and fauna, forced myself to swim, and even while I was sour and a loner, camp counselors were always inclusive, kind, and full of enthusiasm. Went in '06.
