GASPEITE, discovered in 1966, is a relatively rare mineral, found only in a few locations in the world. Its light green, almost apple green color is quite unique and some varieties are almost neon green. It may contain brownish inclusions, which will give it a distinctive character. Gaspeite exhibits amazing variation in its coloring, providing a share for almost anyone.

Beautiful lasting jewelry. I’ve left it on all summer after visiting in early June.

Walked in nervous about if it would be Indigenous or white owned and was very pleased to see that it was authentic and Indigenous (Navajo, to be specific) owned and operated. I found the prices of all their products to be affordable and amazing quality; staff is super friendly. 100% recommend and I will definitely be back in the future!

A lovely store! I am always worried when I see “Native art” stores that the store will have fraudulent products, but this place is the real deal. The store is Indigenous owned and operated, and the staff were super friendly. The jewelry is beautiful and mostly Navajo and Zuni, with some other things as well like dreamcatchers and beadwork. I bought a small pair of Zuni sun face stud earrings for $12. This store is a gem in Bar Harbor and is comparable to Diné jewelry shops where I’ve shopped in New Mexico and Arizona. Great, diverse stock with many different stones like coral, turquoise

I’m a travel nurse and visited Bar Harbor with a friend for a weekend getaway. We popped in this shop because she and I both enjoy shopping, especially for jewelry! The owner went on and on(and on) about how authentic the jewelry was and how much Native American history was related to it. He ensured me the ring I purchased was sterling silver. Two days later, my finger turned green. Don’t be fooled. What a scammer!

Beautiful jewelry! Someone noted that it is not sterling sliver but mine appear to be. It is tarnishing just like i would expect haha. They have an excellent selection of Native American books, be sure to check that out too!

This is a beautiful Native American jewelry store. I bought a pair of earrings and wore them on my bust trip home. I was amazed how many people approached me and said they loved them. And they are not large earrings. Very nicely crafted jewelry. The young women working there were very pleasant. If I am in Bar Harbor again I will stop by.
