Klein Miller established Old South Construction, Inc. in 1990. Klein spent twenty years working in the ready mix concrete business and portland cement industry. He began building custom homes part time in 1990 and full time in 2000. Klein was born and raised among the many plantations in southern Louisiana.
He acquired a taste for authentic southern architecture at an early age. At the age of six, two of Klein's relatives built homes, which were designed by the late architect A. Hays Town. Little did he know then, that these very ideas and designs would strongly influence his own work some forty years later.

Old South Construction, Inc. will build your home on your lot using plans you have provided from your architect or residential designer. At your request, we will be happy to work with you and your designer during the design phase to provide your unique custom home. If you are in need of a designer, Old South Construction, Inc. has available a reference list of reputable architects and residential designers in the area.
We spent almost two years searching for the perfect lot to build on. We wanted to build a home that we could live in forever and that our children would enjoy sharing with friends and family for years to come. Klein spent many hours walking these lots with us giving us ideas and valuable input along the way.
