Dutch Way Builders and Fencing was founded in 1995 with a focus on vinyl fencing. The company expanded their staff to include Dale Shank, who is currently President and owner. As the fencing business grew, Dutch Way did as well. In the summer of 1996, the company transitioned from a building business to solely a fencing business and rebranded to be Dutch Way Fencing.
In 2003, Dutch Way opened their second location, a retail fence store in Stuarts Draft, VA. On their 10th anniversary in the vinyl fence industry in 2005, Dutch Way consolidated their Harrisonburg shop and office into the new facility at 27 White Picket Trail, Mt.

Dutch Way came this morning to begin the process of our vinyl fence. They have been extremely polite and easy to work with, knowledgable, patient and professional as we changed our minds a few times about what we wanted. Our fence posts are just starting to be put in, but I would already highly recommend them! Can't wait to see the finished product.
