I started going to Dern Assoc. of Central NJ for a skin issue at the urging of my wife. I can say that I am not normally one to do this this but I'm glad I did. Claudia found what could have been a serious issue later in life and resolved it. I am also now seeing her for some cosmetic issues, that have bothered me for a while, which are now getting resolved over several visits. She has a great personality and her professional skills have been nothing but spot-on. I highly recommend this office and Claudia to anyone looking for a great dermatologist.

Never even made it in the door because god forbid the front staff don’t nickel and dime you! Called them in the middle of a snow storm explaining I didn’t feel comfortable coming in due to the weather but I was worried that I would be charged the same day cancellation. Staff has no interest in speaking goes “Yes you will”. I explain I understand the policy but the weather is outside my control and not something I can change, she answers “Well everyone else got here so”. Okay. Got it. Imagine caring about patients and your practice? Now I understand those other reviews complaining about

Beautiful office. Compassionate, professional staff. I have an unsightly condition that I have been reluctant to address because I have been embarrassed to share with anyone. I called for information and was squeezed in to be seen the same day; I think the receptionist could tell I was having a hard time when I called as I was asking a lot of questions and being indecisive, and would have probably backed down if the appointment was too far.
