Although Tom and John learned their trade in larger firms, they chose to create a new environment where they could provide the expertise of a larger firm but with the personal attention - and value to our clients - of a smaller firm. Twenty years later, Tom has retired and moved with his family to Europe to begin a new chapter in life.

Condominiums and homeowner associations are the two most common forms of shared residential arrangements, and while they can offer people valuable benefits, they also come with their own particular problems and legal issues.

We represent individual owners and associations in disputes concerning a variety of issues, including: interpretation and application of Declarations, CC&Rs, Bylaws and "house rules"; complaints concerning Board Member action and inaction; disagreement over ACC decisions; and assessment disputes.We also try to offer constructive advice to our clients in order to try to avoid further problems with neighbors and Associations.

We represent both contractors and project owners in a variety of settings, including construction defect claims; contract development and review; environmental assessments and risk management; warranty claims and disputes; construction site accidents; lien claims and foreclosure actions; and vendor-purchaser disputes.

John Wiegenstein has completed the 40 hour Professional Mediation Skills Training Program at the University of Washington Law School, and is available to serve as mediator to help get your case resolved quickly and efficiently.
