Hightower Creek Vineyards
As a family winery and vineyard, we know the importance of food, friends, and a sense of family. That's why we strive to create wines that reflect the people and places of Blue Ridge Mountains. Each bottle of our wines represents the hard work of family and friends - from the vineyard, to the cellar, to you. Pair with good food and better company. Serve with a smile.
Services
Hightower Creek Wines are crafted to celebrate the unique tastes of North Georgia. We believe in allowing our wines to fully express their sense of home and are committed to using only local fruit. Enjoy with friends! A blend of Seyval, Vidal, and Traminette, Chatuga White is stainless steel fermented offering crisp aromas of green apples, flowers, and tropical fruit.

My group of friends and i went today and we cannot stop talking about it. One of the best days EVER!!! The wine was incredible and the service made it even better. The owners son was so sweet to us and gave us a tour of the winery although they were close to closing!! We had such a great experience and we cannot wait to come back!

Relaxing family vibe winery. The pre-set tasting menus are nice at the counter, indoor or outdoor, with the knowledgeable and engaging staff. Recommend the Symphony rose with Thai food! The wine slushies are yummy, aka dangerous! This is a repeat winery...I'll be back!

Where to start? What a great experience! We had a group of 8 (all family members from Texas, Alabama and Florida) staying in Highlands, NC, who had never been to Hightower Creek Winery. It was pretty crowded, as it was a beautiful fall day in September, and the winery had a good folk singer playing outdoors. We choose to sit at a picnic table on the ground beneath the deck where the music was playing.
The owner, Fred, was unbelievably helpful, and suggested a wine tasting for the group would be our best option (and easier to service, too, as the staff had their hands full with the big crowd).

We had a great experience. We stopped by while live music was playing on the patio. The service was great. The weather was perfect. The wine was great. Highly recommend making this a stop on your trip!

The red tasting was great. All of the wines were good, but I most especially enjoyed the first wine (the cab franc) and the last wine (I can’t recall the name, but it was similar to a pinot noir). My spouse had a wine ‘lushie’, which she enjoyed, too. Staff was personable and kind, and the grounds were beautiful and well maintained. The swing at the top of the hill was a very calming place to sit, look out over the vineyards, and watch the bunnies graze on clover. Coming to the winery was a positive experience.

Tried the white muscadine and the dueling banjos wines. Good wine, and the atmosphere is absolutely gorgeous! I recommend! They are closed on Tuesdays.

On top of being beautiful, the staff was amazing. They have live music on Saturdays and allow dogs on their porch. We opted to drink a bottle of wine (the Red Clay Rose was delicious with just a hint of sweetness) on the chairs by the pond while our dog frolicked with the vineyard dog. We could not have planned a more relaxing afternoon. But we plan to come back without our dog to take full advantage of the tasting room.
