Cynthia started her photography in the dark room in college working with film cameras and developing photos. She was an art major and is a fantastic painter also. Cynthia's classical education in art gives her work a unique perspective that results in more than your ordinary photo. Cynthia with some technical help from her husband strives to push the envelope on today's modern photography techniques.

Wonderful to work with Beach Shutters again. We got to work with Trey this time and he was awesome, patient and professional. I am not very creative with pictures but I didn't have to worry because Trey had all kinds of ideas which were great.The weather earlier in the week was cold so Cynthia was flexible with waiting for a warmer day later in the week. I love working with these two and will certainly use Beach Shutters again.

Beach Shutters is the only photographer I will use in Gulf Shores. In addition to being an excellent photographer as far as technique goes, they are incredibly creative and skilled at taking pictures that capture the moment and the unique qualities of each person they are photographing. When people see my pictures they often think they were styled for a magazine layout. They make everyone look their best and keep even a large group comfortable while doing it. They are the premier photographers in the Gulf area.

Cynthia was amazing with my family of five. It rained the morning of my session and she rescheduled us for sunset and the photos were beautiful! She knew how to get my toddler’s attention and pose quickly to get the best photos. These photos were better than I imagined!

Excellent service from start to finish! My daughter and I planned an Orange Beach vacation (we love the beach!) and decided to take mother-daughter/senior beach photos while there. After reading reviews and looking at pictures taken on their website, I chose Beach Shutters Photography. Cynthia did not disappoint!
