Services
Preparation- The material is stripped of any paints or solvents. If needed, sandblasting is used to remove impurities such as corrosion leaving the part clean to allow an ideal surface for the powder coating adhesion. Pre-Baking- The part is now pre-baked to remove any impurities such as grease that can cause bubbling up that could cause an unsightly result.
Don't worry about preparing your project for powder coating; let us do the dirty work. APMD Powder Coating can degrease, sandblast, or chemically strip the items you need to refinish. Powder and Liquid Coatings all have tremendous corrosion protection potential but the coating is only as good as the metal pretreatment beneath them.
In addition to applying powder and liquid coatings, APMD Powder Coating can also silkscreen graphics and text onto metal, plastic and painted parts. You can supply the actual silk screen, or we can fabricate the silkscreen from your camera-ready artwork. If desired, multiple colors can also be printed.

Went in there to get my rear bumper powder coated and it took a long time to do because they had to dechrome my bumper. It’s barely been 1 month of me driving with this finished product and they did a terrible job on it. The powder coating peeled off and they don’t want to return my calls and fix it so if I can rate this business I would give zero stars. Don’t do business with them because they don’t do their job right and don’t want to take an accountability that they did such a poor job. I just want them to fix it knowing I spent good money. I have pictures to prove what a terrible

So I wanted to get my wheels powder coated locally. I went to APMD and met with Chris, the guy is laid back and chill. He told me how long he needed the car the process and price. It all seemed fair and reasonable so I decided to go with him. I was unsure of the color I wanted so I asked him for some more time to get some colors on my own to be sure. I ended up finding the color I wanted this way and took the color swatch to him so he could order it and do my wheels. I also decided to do my calipers in a blue. I picked up my car in the stated time and was extremely happy.

I needed a hitch riser media blasted and powder coated after I had it welded up. Christopher was extremely nice and helpful. First he recommended a awesome welder that I ended up using for my project. I dropped off my hitch riser and had it blasted and powder coated bright red. It looked awesome, the price was very reasonable, and the turn around time was about 5 days. I will definitely be a repeat customer for my next project.

I want to start off by saying I'm very disappointed in Chris's teams work. I've had the rims for only a month and 14days exactly and the paint is cracking already, there is chips on the rims. 2 of the rims are starting to get discolored. And to top it off the first day he drop one of my rims and told me he would fix the damages and never did. Not only that but he took a total 3 months and 4 days with my rims only to make them look worse. So I paid $650 to get my rims looking worse. If you're looking to get your rims powder coated I HIGHLY recommend you don't come here.

I was looking for powder coating for a steel bumper that was recently completed. I reached out to this business and spoke to Chris the owner. He was very hands on throughout the whole process. Gave me a tour of the facility to show their quality craftsmanship and turnaround time was less than 2 days. The whole thing was seamless from beginning to end and the actual work is impeccable. They did a good job on the powder coating. They need to communicate better with customers. The customer should not be calling to see if the orders ready and so on. Nice people to deal with just wished they would have communicated. Like I stated above the job the did was good. I will continue to do business just will ask for more communication

I've seen APMD work first hand both in the automotive and industrial community. I definitely recommend them for their workmanship. Chris knows what his customer needs and the look they're going for! They are conveniently accessible and communication is on point! They genuinely care for their customers and that's a big plus! I've never had anything powder coated before. Called Chris due to his 5 Star Rating on Yelp. The reviews were right on. Chris is very friendly and professional. When I picked up my car parts, he walked me into the shop and explained the process. The parts looked way better than I expected. I don't know what powder coating should cost but I was happy to pay for the job he did. I will be back with more car parts.

Top notch company & customer service. Chris is awesome! He took his time showing me different options to powder coat my rims. I was thinking gunmetal but went with magnesium blue.
