Like people, your pet can develop skin problems like rashes, open sores, irritation, hair loss, and infections. Pet dermatology issues often stem from allergies. At Bridges Professional Park Animal Hospital in Morehead City, we have ample experience treating pet allergies and the skin problems they can cause.
We also may refer patients to North Carolina State Veterinary Teaching Hospital, Blue Pearl Specialty Hospital, or one of the other specialty hospitals in the area. We have digital radiographic technology in our clinic, allowing our staff to instantly visualize what is unseen on a physical exam. Radiographs are used everyday to diagnose bone fractures, arthritis, heart problems, and foreign objects in the gastrointestinal tract.

We brought my son's pet snake in today to confirm what was to be assumed, but we wanted to be 100% sure before we said our goodbyes. I called every vet I could within a decent radius of Swansboro and Bridges Professional Park Animal Hospital was the only place that actually asked what was going on when I called I stead of rushing me off the phone. Any other vet I called either said they had no appointments, even for an emergency, or they don't treat snakes and I would have to go to Raleigh or further and hung up. Providing a first impression after my first visit to this Animal Hospital today. Everyone that I've interacted, from setting the appointment to check in, to the actual exam with was very friendly, knowledgeable, and informative. Melinda and Dr. Z were excellent, even though my 'new to me' dog gave them a little bit of a hard time. There will be follow up visits to get her in tiptop shape and I feel confident about future visits.

Very happy with the care we received for our dog when she swallowed a lot of salt water when swimming while we were visiting from New Jersey on vacation. I called several clinics but Bridges agreed to see her immediately. Dr. Z diagnosed her quickly and started treatment. It all resolved well and she was fine! It's very scary dealing with an emergency with a pet when away from home, so I am very grateful that they were able to treat her immediately even though we were not regular clients and were from out of town.
