While in high school Jackson was provided the opportunity to attend Kootenai Technical Education Campus(KTEC). While learning the ins and outs of the trade, he soon realized that welding and fabrication was something he would pursue as a career. After receiving an education in welding at KTEC, he furthered his education at North Idaho College studying Welding Technology.
