Our newest facility is centrally located just blocks away from the heart of South Bend's booming downtown district. We are now enrolling new families for this location. We've been going to Bright Beginnings for over a year now and all the staff has been kind, informative, and professional to me and my family.

I am Ramal Winfield owner and director of Bright Beginnings Childcare. My staff and I are committed to providing a safe and loving childcare experience for the children in our community. Our program consists not only of teaching and preparing children for school and life but also of building relationships with the families we serve.
Our focus at Bright Beginnings Childcare is to enrich the lives of our families. We want to be an extension of the same love and care that you offer your child at home. I worked here for a week and a half, and while I unfortunately did not have the ability to take the job, I will say that the staff here are the very best quality you can find. They care for the children like their very own. They also are very friendly with each other and create a beautiful atmosphere for children to be in. Ramal directs the center with warmth as well as concern for following all the best practices and procedures. If I had children in need of daytime care, I would definitely send them here.

I was recently made aware that there was a negative review made about this daycare by Mr. Pierre that were full of accusations that were not true. I am the mother of the child that Mr. Pierre is speaking about. On the day in question, my daughter wasn't even at school that day. On that day, the daycare closed at 5 in observance of the holiday.It is court ordered that he picks her up from there at 5 o clock so I was there to meet him and exchange our child. After waiting around, Mr. Pierre did not show up, he did not call or text anyone that he wasn't coming or was going to be late so I left with

Bad had to make police report on owner she released my child without me her father knowing on a day I was suppose to get my daughter call on a Wednesday and didn’t get a callback until that following Wednesday and that was after me leaving voicemails and no response. And I was told by Rachael that she knew my daughter’s mom person that why she can get in contact with her. I would recommend this place for your child just someone from the hood that got a business trying to get over on people.

Making the decision to change Professions for health reasons was scary, but the transition has been great! Working in the office has allowed me the opportunity to watch the children grow and excel. Meeting Parents and their most Precious Blessings, entrusting Bright Beginnings with their daily learning experiences, building friendships and bonding together for fun activities, Field trips, Family dinners, Fundraisers. Etc. The Staff work and communicate very well together, and have the Children Safety and Best interest first and foremost. This first year has been a Great Challenge and Experiences

During my employment at Bright Beginnings Ramal was extremely pleasant, professional, and was always going above and beyond to provide extra cirriuclar activities for the children as well as incintives for employees.
