As a ministry of Jesus Christ, Agape's mission is that vulnerable and orphaned children find permanency in safe, nurturing families. Our primary focus will always be the best outcome for both the unborn child and the expectant parents, whether or not that leads to adoption. At Agape, each of us has a role to play to fulfill the mission of this ministry.

Services
Agape is a Christian foster care and adoption agency that seeks to provide Christians with a way of carrying out the desire to mirror God's heart for the vulnerable child. Our name comes from the original New Testament language word for "unconditional love". We seek to show that Agape love in our ministry to vulnerable children and expectant parents.
At Agape, our primary focus will always be doing what is best for each child and the child's parent. No matter if you chose parenting or adoption, we want to give your baby the best possible future. As much stress as we can reduce for you, we will. Our social workers will support you throughout the process and can help you access prenatal care, housing needs, and transportation.
Agape will help identify your family's strengths and work to equip and prepare you to meet the needs of the child you will parent. From your first contact with us, to the home study, to the waiting, to the placement, and after; Agape will walk this journey with you. Agape helps expectant parents, and the adoptive family, to make the adoption plan that best meets the needs of the child.
Agape's foster care ministry seeks Christ-centered families who can provide safe, caring, comfortable homes for children currently in the custody of Alabama's Department of Human Resources or other children who need temporary shelter. Foster parents are ordinary people who do extraordinary things in the lives of children.
Agape is dependent upon your prayers, and the generosity of your time and support to operate as a ministry. Agape is an awesome service that gives you a place when there's no where else to turn to. They have really, really nice foster parents like a foster mom or a foster mom and dad. If you want to know how I know is because I was a foster kid was in their services and it was awesome experience. I'm hoping that I've encouraged you about foster care and about AGAPE
