Abel Wellness is a family owned and operated studio in Franklin NC. We specialize in creating freedom of movement with one-on-one private sessions and group classes. We excel at creating freedom from pain, injury, restrictions and limited range of motion and are passionate about supporting people on their journey to a balanced energized life.
Abel Wellness is a health and wellness studio located in Franklin North Carolina. We offer in person private sessions, classes, and online content. We specialize in healthy pain free movement, Pilates, and martial arts. Abel Wellness consists of Donnie and Patti Abel, a husband and wife team, passionate about supporting people on their journey to a balanced and energized life.
Abel Wellness is the studio for you if you are ready to make the commitment and transform your health. Payment must be received before services are rendered. All sessions must be paid for at time of booking. Invoices must be paid within 24 hours to avoid having your appointment canceled. All classes and private sessions must be paid for at the time of booking.
All new students must complete our Integrative Movement Partnership Request. Upon acceptance, you will be required to schedule and complete a 90minute Movement Consult and minimum of 4 private personal sessions.
This sets you up for the most optimal success for your body, assessing your bodies individual needs, building a good foundation, identifying habitual movement patterns, along with learning how to safely and effectively work on the equipment.Upon progress with private sessions you will be evaluated and welcomed into the group class that fits your specific needs and goals.

Private sessions are the fastest way to meet your health and wellness goals. Why? Because the entire session is focused on you, your body, and your goals. During the session your instructor will create a movement and wellness plan designed specifically for you and your fitness goals.
They will combine techniques including core and structural muscle strengthening (Pilates), work on the Pilates equipment including the Reformer, Cadillac, and Spring Board, breathing, muscle release work, heat, and aromatherapy.Because the safety and health of our clients is our number 1 goal, all new clients begin with private sessions.

I have participated in Reformer Pilates classes with both Patti and Donnie. They are both very knowledgeable. Keeping the classes small allows them to give individualized attention where needed to assure correct form while performing the exercises. I’ve also done private Pilates and Restorative Movement classes with Patti. All have been very positive experiences for me.
