With over 5,000square feet of space, EDDA's six studios have the resources you or your child needs to feel comfortable and succeed in dance. Please feel free to stop in at either location and take a tour to see for yourself.
My daughter has been dancing here for just over a year, and absolutely loves it. The instructors are so patient with her as she isnt the best dancer. I couldnt be happier with our decision to have her dance at the North location of the Academy. I was thrilled to see how much she learned through the year!
We are closed in July. All classes are on a first come first serve basis. El Dorado Dance Academy offers classes for all levels of students from the beginner to the pre-professional, and recreational dancers, too! Everyone is welcome at EDDA! If you do not see a dance class of a style you'd like to study, please email us and let us know. If interest exists with 5 dancers to form a class, we will offer it! The use of balls, toys, bubbles and magic wands turns this 45-minute movement lesson into a wonderland for our youngest students of dance learning alongside their parents!
Please Note: These dress codes are in place to maintain dance traditions and a commitment to high personal and professional standards-Integrity in Dance and Life. The style numbers provided are merely suggested for your convenience, and are not mandatory. Girls: Pink tights, leotard of choice, tutu or skirt if desired, and pink leather ballet slippers.

Amazing teachers but ownership is about the numbers. It's sad to see them waste such a beautiful facility and talented teachers on contradicting themselves every step of the way. "Integrity is Dance and Life" is on display but it is far from living up to its motto. Their dance company audition process is preached to be a professional New York style… audition but many dancers have not agreed with the outcome of the group audition and applied pressure to get placed upward after the fact. Let's be REAL this place has terrible dance technique and the teachers really never made it far as dancers. Their teams don't do well at dance competitions and if you want your students to make it far as a dancer. Don't take them here where their teachers can't demonstrate or teach correct technique. Not to mention they are all about then numbers game versus the individual. Plus the studios are on the small side and their facility is cramped. I think a lot of people think this place is the only gig in town because if it's name.

What a beautiful space for dance for all individuals young and old. My daughter and I attend El Dorado Dance Academy for their baby ballet classes and it's just a lovely environment to teach the principles of dance, importance of body movement, self-confidence and a safe space to meet new friends. The staff are very friendly and personable also. Parking can be a bit tricky during peak hours but the studio is located in a business park with lots of parking.

Now, I've only attended two classes here at the dance academy, but the two times I went was really fun. I took an adult Lyrical/Contemporary class with Jake Fritz, but unfortunately there was not enough enrollment to keep the class going for the whole year. I've been wanting to do dance for most of my life but never found the guts to do it. I called the studio up and Zach, who often works the front desk, was great about letting me know what to expect, how to sign up, and all the other small details that someone nervous would want to know. Spring floors to reduce possibility of injury. Teachers (especially Miss Katherine) are energized, cultivating & fun. Staff (especially miss Debi, the owner, & Miss Sarah, the office manager are always helpful and terrific teachers. Now with EDDA north the drive across town to south studio will help with drive time--can't wait! Best recital EVER! Always a very professional show.

This place is awesome. Best dance place we've found in the Folsom/EDH area. Very friendly staff and teachers. It's a very warm place. I think the focus is on fun versus drills and drills and drills. And all the teachers are super excited and energetic. My 6-year old daughter looks forward to both her classes every week. I can't say the same when we were at the other EDH dance studio.
We parents love it because they put together a finished dance each month. So they practice all the moves and techniques for 4 sessions and at the end, we get to see a finished performance. And then
