Midland Juice Works
Midland Yoga Works is a privately owned studio dedicated to providing movement choices that rebuild and refresh the body, mind and spirit. Our classes are taught by our staff of dynamic teachers, all of whom are highly skilled and devoted to Yoga. We offer yoga classes designed to strengthen and balance the body, mind and spirit.

Instructors will creatively focus on postures, deepening the students' knowledge of alignment, mental clarity, emotional balance and spiritual way of being. Expect the use of props, such as belts, blocks and blankets, as aids in performing asanas. The props enable students to perform the asanas correctly and make the postures accessible to both young and old.

You may also be asked various questions concerning your health, exercise history, and reasons for seeking us out. In your first class you can expect a short period at the beginning of class for breathing followed by asanas, or poses, poses to help you learn body awareness and create strength. The final section of the class is called Savasana, a period of restful breathing that helps restore balance to the body, mind, and spirit.
Our aim is to create an environment in which anyone can experience the many benefits of yoga. We have a beautiful, fully equipped studio where we teach 23 classes a week from beginner level to advanced, offered in the daytime and in the evening. All yoga classes are taught by yoga instructors who have been certified through a Yoga Alliance Approved Yoga School and have either a 200hr and 500hr distinction.
Yoga is a transformative method for achieving a positive state of well-being in mind and body regardless of age or physical condition. Our aim is to provide excellent Yoga classes and make the benefits of Yoga practice available to all. We focus on alignment and safety using blankets, blocks, straps, and, everyone's favorite, the Great Yoga Wall.
Midland Yoga Works Teacher Training is a 200 hour course that offers a unique opportunity for students to learn the fundamentals of teaching yoga. It provides dedicated yoga students an intensive 8 months of study and practice of yoga asanas, pranayama, anatomy and yogic philosophy.

The program is designed for students who aim to explore the full spectrum of Yoga, as well as for those who feel a call to become, or explore becoming, a Yoga teacher.Participants can expect to come away with more acutely honed ability to see and understand the body and its movement patterns as well as a greater precision in language, and confidence in verbalizing what you see.
8. Please describe the most challenging moment you've experienced as a yoga student in the past 12 months. What did you learn from this experience? 9. Beautiful, clean studio. Nurturing, friendly, welcoming environment. I attended 2 different classes this week with 2 different instructors -- it was my first (and second) time ever doing yoga. Both were very patient and encouraging. Any feeling of being self conscious that I walked in with was gone within the first 10 minutes. I've told my whole family about it and will definitely be returning again and again.

I love Midland Yoga Works. Cyndi and her team do a wonderful job of making everybody feel welcome and comfortable and the classes are so good. The Vinyasa classes are my favorite for an excellent workout as well as a mental restoration. I love everything about MYW!

I took advantage of the $25 for 5 classes introductory deal during my visit to Midland, and plan to become a member when I move at the end of the year. Very welcoming community and knowledgeable instructors with many convenient class times offered. The juice bar was a great touch.
