I went for my first brazilian ever and the woman ended up leaving a quite a bit of hair, furthermore when i called two days after they said i would have to wait for the next week and couldn’t provide me any information about their ability or if i would have to pay to get the extra hair removed. they were able to book me the day off though, if you need something fast

I made the biggest the mistake of my life by going to Zara salon for a haircut. I get haircuts from New York but due to covid I decided to try this place out. I had asked for simple layers instead the person who cut my her named Asha completely chopped and destroyed my hair by giving me a bob/mullet look. I’m beyond upset that I want to cry she has chopped off my hair and it is beyond uneven and she called it “this is multi layers “ I have gotten layers many times in my hair before never in my life I had such a bad hair cut compared to the one I got from here . The unicorn of eyebrow salons! Seriously, get your eyebrows done here. I am fairly new to the area and was on the hunt for a salon I can trust with my eyebrows 😅😅 After a few failed attempts and having my eyebrows over waxed by a different salon, Zara was my saving grace! I've had my eyebrows threaded here a few times already and EVERYTIME they look amazing. My friends compliment them all the time and have even asked if I've gotten them microbladed ❤️. I've been to salons that charge $25 to do your brows and they have never looked as good as when I get them done at Zara.

Zara salon is my one stop shop for all my beauty needs. They take walk ins and appointments which makes it easier for me to go whenever I can with my busy schedule. Love the owner and the staff—you will definitely leave your appointment with a smile on your face! Would 10/10 recommend and am a forever customer!

Got threading and waxing done here a few days before my wedding. Waxing was fine; they do double dip so keep that in mind. Eyebrow threading was also good.
The only thing that went wrong was during the upper lip threading. I asked for threading but she suggested waxing, maybe because it was faster? This was my first time getting waxed and I didn't know anything about it so I said yes. Big mistake. I had a lot of breakouts in that area after waxing, which never happens after threading. The lady working with me knew I was about to get married so I kind of wish that she had gone ahead with

Hands down finallllllly found a person I could trust with color and a cut! Sareen is kind, smart and knows exactly how to keep clients happy. I ain't easy and have so many questions and go back and forth with color, but she really was sooo patient and just the nicest experience ever. I called before I went to the salon since it was close to closing. I spoke to the owner, Sareen and she said she could squeeze me in. I went for a Brazilian wax. She used a chocolate wax which seemed less painful than other waxes I've experienced. The owner was friendly and personable. She was very thorough and I was pleased with the overall outcome.

Okay first and foremost i never write reviews but I've been wanting to go blonde for a while but have been super hesitant because everytime I tried going blonde, I came out with that reddish brownish color which is okay but in my opinion it just rlly washes out my skin color. But recently I found zara salon and spa and LOVED IT. My natural hair color is black but ive been box dying my hair for idk how long, so Zara recommended me to get highlights instead of going full out blonde for the sake of my hair and the maintenance of it won't be as much as going fully blonde.

The owner is super nice and friendly. She genuinely cares about her clients and the products that she uses. She is honest about her services and a total pleasure to interact with. I had a terrible experience here. Got a wax done by "Paula" and I felt like it was her first time doing a Brazilian. Wax was way too hot and getting stuck everywhere - she had to use scissors and CUT WAX OUT. I had scabs all over my "area" for the next week because she burned me so bad. Would return but not if she was the one waxing.

Superb experience Sareen is genious.
I was experimental with my har and tried to cut it myself ...needless to say I botched the job and had a disaster in hand.
Sareen not only fixed it but did a outstanding job with my hair and didn't had to give any instructions , I love my new hair cut and best part can try my experiments again as i know she is there to fix it

I came to Zara Salon and Spa for a Brazilian and underarm wax. Sareen is a wonderful esthetician and I'm so surprised at how great this service was. She uses a soft chocolate wax that's way more gentle than other waxes I've had. She was careful but still quick, and the pain was minimal. Her services were far superior to the $50 Brazilians I've paid for, but she only charges about $25 for a full Brazilian and $10 for an underarm wax! There is nowhere else you can receive a better service, let alone at this price. Thank you so so much Sareen! You've gained a loyal customer
