Richardson attorney Avia Rice Gauthier advises clients on a range of matters relating to family law (divorce, fathers' rights, custody & child support), estate planning (wills, trusts, probate & guardianship), business law (contracts, business entity formation, commercial debt collection & negotiations) and bankruptcy (chapter 7 & 13).
Genine Ware is a Senior Family Law Associate at the Gauthier Law Firm. Raised in Kansas, Ms. Ware attended the University of Kansas where she obtained her Bachelor's degree with dual majors in Psychology and Human Development. She also obtained her Juris Doctorate from the University of Kansas. A seasoned litigator, Ms. Ware employs advocacy skills to zealously represent her clients in the courtroom and through all stages of litigation.
Ms. Johnson has a BA and MS in Criminal Justice. She also has 20 years of legal experience having worked at the Attorney General's Office and The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. In her various capacities she has prepared briefs, legal memoranda, or statements of issues involved in cases, including appropriate suggestions or recommendations.
Lauren was born and raised in Richardson, TX. Her professional background is in Business Development and Inside Sales. At the Gauthier Law Firm, she will serve as our Business Development Specialist and also handle Community Outreach. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids, cooking, watching football, and spending time outdoors!

They have been very patient with me and have answered all of my questions. They are very nice when talking to me. Really great at getting back to me if I email or leave a voicemail.
My uncontested divorce was filed on September 08,2020 and it requires that the petition is on file for 61 days so I am still waiting for those 61 days to pass then they will tell me what is next and once they do I will come back and update this.
