Services
The Recovery Center provides a broad spectrum of substance abuse and mental health prevention, intervention, and treatment. The Recovery Center will continue to provide efficient, effective opportunities for healing, growth and change in a professional and compassionate manner. The Recovery Center originated as a small alcoholism program in the Fairfield County Health Department in 1973.
How to Access Services: Persons wishing to receive treatment services should call during office hours to make an appointment (individuals must schedule an appointment for themselves). Crisis intervention services are provided on a walk-in basis. Prevention and education services should be scheduled in advance with the prevention staff.
Our mission is to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of alcohol, drug addiction, and mental health prevention, intervention and treatment services to promote the health and safety of the residents of Fairfield County.

The Recovery Center works collaboratively with area physicians and hospitals, social and human service providers, law enforcement and criminal justice systems, city and county school districts and other professional organizations and key stakeholders to ensure the availability of a full continuum of services and effective community supports to address the special needs of the populations it serves.
